"We (mom & two teens) stayed one night for a track and field meet. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We appreciated the sitting area and the extra doors between the bedroom and the hallway. The staff were excellent, both the front desk and the maintenance person who came to explain how to use the air conditioner (which worked great!). We did not try the pool or the restaurant. We were worried by some of the previous negative reviews, so the hotel exceeded expectations. The place is a bit dated but it is clean. You do hear noise if people are talking in the hallway but our stay was quiet overnight. You can hear the highway on that side of the building if you do not have the fan turned on. The extra fees were $20 for parking, $20 for facility fee, and a 2% tax (less than $5) that applies to all hotels in the Niagara area. The refundable security deposit is standard for any hotel stay. Overall it was excellent value for the cost, and we would stay there again for the same purpose."

"Could not ask for a better view! Convenient restaurants nearby and very short walk to the incline railway. Only suggestion is to stop for bottled water or drinks to store in the mini fridge for your room. They have a coffee bar in the lobby and vending machines. We just prefer the convenience of having drinks in the room, especially when traveling with kids. Everything was absolutely perfect. Very clean rooms, and awesome, friendly staff."

"The room and property was clean and spacious. The towels were soft but a noisy vent came on with the light in the WC area. The AC was noisy and not very effective leaving us too warm at night but overall the room was alright and we could watch the fireworks from our 10th floor window. We had a car so the location was perfect for the attractions on both sides of the border.The breakfast buffet had many options, hot and cold but was only average. The bacon was like jerky and the scrambled eggs must have been a premix, not from freshly cracked eggs. The food staff were pleasant. Our 4 night stay was acceptable and we enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub too."
