"This iconic hotel in Capri is the best. A lot of people like the Quisisana but to me there is no comparison. The Punta Tragara is located just a beautiful walk outside of the main plaza so you don’t get the day tripper noise and foot traffic. The staff is thoughtful, courteous, and all speak great English (sadly I don’t speak Italian!) The two swimming pools, photographed by Slim Aarons back in the day, are beautiful. Both restaurants (the Grill by the pool and the Michelin starred Le Monzu) are super. The rooms and amenities are gorgeous and offer several price points that, while expensive, are truly worth it. In a way, the star of the property is the wrap-around view of the Faraglioni rocks and surrounding cliffs. Overall, a great experience."

"Amazing staff! From Genny in the cafe by the pool, to Antonio or Emilio at the desk, the staff making up the rooms, or anyone in the breakfast room (our bkfst waiter from Poland was delightful and a polyglot) , or driving the complimentary shuttle to Capri, everyone was most helpful, professional, and warm. The location right above the water is precious, but the team that runs the Weber Ambassador is most remarkable. Thank you, Grazie, Muchas gracias to all!"

"A little slice of paradise Where do I even begin? From the moment we arrived, this hotel was pure magic. The views over the sea are gorgeous. The staff were absolutely exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble, and they took care of everything with such warmth and professionalism. They even arranged a late checkout so we could squeeze in a few extra precious hours by the pool — that little gesture made all the difference. And breakfast on the terrace? A highlight of the entire trip. The French toast was, without exaggeration, the best I have ever tasted. Sitting there in the morning sun, looking out over the sea with that on my plate — honestly, perfection. Capri is a special place, but this hotel made it truly unforgettable. We left already talking about when we could come back. If you’re looking for somewhere that combines stunning surroundings, impeccable service, and those little personal touches that make you feel genuinely cared for — look no further. We will absolutely be back. What an absolute treat! 🌟"

"We had an amazing stay at this hotel in Capri. The views alone are absolutely spectacular—waking up to that scenery every day was unforgettable and truly made the trip feel special. The hotel itself was very clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which always makes such a difference when traveling. They were helpful and made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. There were a few minor downsides. The shared balcony wasn’t our favorite, as it didn’t feel as private as we would have liked. The TV in the room was very small, the safe wasn’t working during our stay, and the fridge was also on the smaller side. Overall though, the experience, views, and hospitality definitely outweighed the cons. I would still recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Capri, especially if you’re looking for a beautiful and clean place to stay with an amazing atmosphere."

"We had the ocean suite. It was worth it. Great views of the ocean. Tons of space, two bathrooms and absolute tranquility. The property is beautiful and well kept bye staff is incredibly friendly. The breakfast is great and although the pool was cold it was still tons of fun. Sitting on the lounge chairs having drinks while the kids swam was awesome 100/10"

"Beautiful hotel with superb hosts. Our receptionist was an absolute delight, very friendly and super helpful. Just a shame that we missed out on the centre of Caprì being fully open for the start of the Easter holidays. We had to cut our stay short due to ferry travel disruptions which would have had an impact on our onward travel, however the time we had on the island was really enjoyable. Highlights were the views from Villa Jovis and the Gardens of Augustus. Restaurant Panorama was fantastic. "
