A unique stay with a picturesque view. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were fantastic. The property was great for relaxing at but also a good launching spot for exploring some of the nearby towns and sites.
Beautiful old castle. Massive room with kitchen and living area. AC only in bedroom but was good for sleeping.
Lovely grounds. Nice wine as well.
Location pretty good outside Greve
Restaurant food was pretty good.
Extremely nice stay, perfect location. You get the full experience.
The only negative was the danish family with a kid screaming/crying everytime we saw them. Huge nuisance
One of the most amazing experiences we've ever had. I recommend this place 100%. The castle is beautiful, the service is amazing, the suites are beautiful, and the wine tour with lunch is fantastic.
We loved our stay in the 2-room villa. It was a large two floor unit and had a beautiful view. The pictures understate the beauty. We were able to cook dinners in the kitchen after long days of sightseeing. We also appreciated the modern look, the dishwasher and the little washing machine. Because I like to know what to expect when I travel, visitors should know that the Villas are separate from the Castle. We did not have access to the infinity pool shown in the photos (villas have a smaller more basic pool) and no availability for breakfast or coffee as listed as an amenity. The restaurant was mostly closed. We were very comfortable and would highly recommend but would have liked that to be made more clear.
LOVED our stay. I can’t describe how perfect our stay was. It was more beautiful than the pics we’d seen on hotels.com. Beautiful spacious room/apartment. Fabulous dinner in the restaurant, wine tour & tasting. Very helpful staff. Absolutely stunning views. Convenient parking, close to Greve, the town. Perfection.
very nice historic hotel with great views of the country side and great atmphere. Room size and ammenities were wonderful. The breakfeast was great. Restaurant was nice with historic dishes. Only down side was the gluten and nut free options were limited...mainly for gluten sufferers, since the only gluten free pasta is Penne, which is not great for all dishes and frustratingsince Italy produces a very large variety of great gluten free pasta shapes. Also, my travel partner and I did the same pasta, one gluten free (penne) and one not gluten free. The non-gluten-free pasta came beautifully presented, while the gluten-free pasta came like it was thrown together last minute… like as if you were sitting at your own kitchen table. Impression given with the dinner is that people with allergies, are more a bit of a bother, and the typical mission in Italy, to give visitors an excellent culinary experience, is more less abandoned for people with allergies. that said, accommodating allergies is very difficult these days and at least the menu was clear about which foods contain which allergens.
Breathtaking scenery, highly competent staff, great food, our room exceeded expectation. Would highly recommend this accommodation. Our only regret is that we only booked one night.
To say that i am just so happy about my stay here is an understatement i highly recommend loved the wine tasting tour the castle grounds it was an incredible stay the staff is top notch and dinners there are absolutely amazing
One of the very best places I have ever had the pleasure of staying at! I would recommend this to anyone and everyone. The room as wonderful, the food was amazing and the grounds were stunning. 11/10 I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!
