On the east side are the three beautiful wetlands Flasken, Skiften and Vejlen with wading birds, ducks and exciting flora. On the west side there are high dunes and at the same time it is a very good place for anglers. For a day trip, visit the Viking castle Trelleborg or the charming town of Kalundborg, where you can wander through the alleys of the old town, find many stores and admire the five-towered church.
