"Stavros at Ballas Apartments was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and communicative. The room was basic, but very clean, bed comfortable, it's in an absolutely perfect location with spectacular views. There's private off street parking, and a veranda overlooking the ocean and port. It's close to restaurants, but far enough away from "town" to be quiet. I slept with the balcony door open to let the sounds of water lull me to sleep. This is a hidden little gem in Agia Effimia which was a perfect middle stop between Assos and Sami. I flew into Kefalonia and rented a car, stopped briefly in Argostoli, drove to Myrtos Beach, then on to Assos for dinner. I had to be in Sami the next day, and Ballas Apartments was a perfect place to rest as its about 15-20 minutes from each. I enjoyed a lovely coffee and breakfast at the port before heading out in the morning."
