Pros: the grounds are beautiful, the location is great and close to many natural sites, and our room was large. Cons: food was pretty bad, service was generally bad, HVAC in our room didn’t work well, and the staff didn’t speak much if any English.

The hotel is 5 stars from decor to service. It is perfect for someone to get away from the city or busy life to enjoy the quietness of the small town. It’s about 30 minutes from the city center of Yangshuo. Not the most convenient location if you are looking for night life and foods variety.

The resort is beautiful. We enjoyed the little strolls we had around the hotel property with the little animals (peacocks are a bit noisy to be fair). Our reservation includes 1 hour river rafting which was quite scenic and also saved us the trouble of having to get the tickets separately outside. The hotel itself though is a bit far from the town centre. We weren't able to make use of the free shuttle due to schedule conflicts but it was quite convenient to call a taxi to get into town.

Our Stay

Our stay at Banyan Tree Yangshuo was nothing short of perfect. The hotel setting was magnificent with splendid views of the karst mountains. The room was also immaculate (clean) and the service of all the staff there was excellent. For example, they took the effort to even remember what the drinks we ordered for breakfast and asked if we would like the same the next day. All in all, a perfect get-away for both of us.

Lovely resort hotel but don’t eat there.

Everything is perfect, however apart from breakfast, food in the restaurant is expensive and not up to standard, and there are less than a handful of guests in the restaurants. Since it’s a bit far from the centre, we’re obliged to eat there at night.

A wonderful stay

這次在陽朔悅榕莊的住宿經驗非常好。第一次去陽朔，所以出發前一天就打電話去，把周邊環境和交通打聽清楚。接電話的工作人員很細心解釋，告訴我們度假村有shuttle 接送，衹是時間不配合的話，要自己叫車。從入住到離開，感覺很舒服。到處都乾乾淨淨，服務貼心，環境也十分清雅。中西兩個餐廳都有去用餐，服務很好，食物也很好。有機會再來，也會強力推薦給朋友。Keep up the good work, thank you！

Kleiner Mangel waren teilweise fehlendes Fugenmaterial der Fliesenböden. Zwar keine praktische Auswirkung aber optisch unschön. Ansonsten wären Zimmer, Austattung, Hotelanlage und die Umgebung ein Traum. Der Service war super und auch mit der englischen Sprache kam man gut klar. Entgegen anderer Kommentare kann ich die Funktion der Raumklimatisierung als völlig ok beschreiben. Vielleicht wurde die Technik zwischenzeitlich verbessert - jedenfalls war es kein Problem frische 22 Grad einzustellen. Das Hotel ist etwas ab vom Schuss aber in einer super idyllischen Lage. Es war super die Gegend und die wunderschöne Natur mit dem kostenlos bereitgestellten Fahrrädern oder auch bei der kostenlos vom Hotel angebotenen Flossfahrt zu genießen. Das Gym ist klein aber fein, Die Massage im Spa ein Erlebnis und das Essen in beiden Restaurants sehr gut. Alles in Allem war es ein super Erlebnis. Würde das Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen

山水間的幽靜之旅

陽朔悅榕莊位於陽朔縣城外的郊區福利鎮，從村落旁的小路開車進入，遠離開發過度的縣城民宿聚落，四周不時傳來悅耳的鳥鳴聲，顯得特別寧靜。日落儀式、竹筏遊灕江特別讓人感覺到悅榕莊的體貼與溫馨。中、西餐廳各有特色，提供的料理和服務都不錯，值得品嚐，如果咖啡水準能再提升一些就更加分。早餐後漫步園林間偶遇孔雀覓食，特別幸運。福利鎮的樸實和扇畫別有特色，對比西街的喧鬧，更具魅力，感謝大堂工作人員的推薦。

Great setting, room temperatures unbearable

The inside rooms were 28 Celsius and wouldn’t cool. We complained and they put loud fans in the rooms without fixing air conditioner. Inside rooms were 27 Celsius. Kids room stayed hotter. Appalling!! Male manager was blaming his low level staff for confusion on breakfast vouchers. Instead they should have included the breakfast bc we stayed in hot rooms. He should be held to account for poor managing of the temp regulation in buildings. Bikes on property had flat tires when we picked them up. Checkout wanted to charge us for broken water glass until we reminded them of our sweltering rooms. Bathroom amenities bag are charged instead of free gifts as done by other high end resorts. This seems petty and unrefined for the expensive room rates we pay. Overall, poorly trained staff and hot rooms make for painful getaway. Not worth it!!

This is hands down the best hotel in the area. Majority of staff speak some English which helps a ton. Beautiful grounds in a safe and quiet area. Amazing views.
