This Gulffront home is located down West Beach in Gulf Shores and is ready to host your next beach getaway! This large, family-friendly home has an open dining and living area with vaulted ceilings, stunning views from the primary bedroom, and a gourmet kitchen with a wooden bar. Spend fun afternoons in the living area whether chatting with your friends or watching TV. Your very own private sun deck boasts astonishing beach and Gulf views, perfect for sunbathing with a view.

The Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo and its more than 300 animals, amazing up-close animal encounters and shows, The Track and its endless family-friendly fun with go-karts, rides, and arcade, Pinnacle 14 Theaters, Tiki's Mini-Golf, and the Alabama Gulf State Park & Pier are all a short drive away. Orange Beach Marina and Zeke's Marina offer fishing charters, dolphin cruises, and watersport rentals. Cactus Cantina, The Hangout, Lulu's, and Picnic Beach are popular restaurants you can find a short drive away.

All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Musty moldy infested with ants. Loud all day long. Grand Central Station.

Disappointed that this was our family vacation for the year. House had significant mold. the back bedroom being so musty we couldn’t use it. Visible mold in the bathroom next to the master. Do not leave any food out even for a second ants were all over the kitchen counter. Other properties block off public beach access. Not this place hundreds of people walking down our driveway, and along the side of the house, talking and yelling and laughing all day long. I tried to read a book on the back patio, but was interrupted every couple minutes. had grown men hitting on my 13 and 15 year-old daughters from the porch walking through our property and asking if they were 21 yet. The master bedroom would have ocean views if the blinds worked we could not open them. the windows have broken seals where you can see water damage and mold growing. There are no beach towels provided so you need to pack your own beach towels. Last night of our trip and we had drunk people shining their flashlights at midnight at our windows, screaming, and laughing walking around our property.. not happy that I had to drive home 11 hours on only five hours of sleep. Would love a partial refund as this home is not what it appears furnished sun deck was a joke.

Great Location-Just Okay House

The good: The house has a great location. It is close to town and it is right on the beach. It has a deck. The bad: This house is extremely dated and could use repairs. While I didn't think that would be a problem, it was. Broken tiles/caulking in the bathroom cut my foot, the spiral staircase is very narrow and the hand rail is PVC pipe that is not at all stable, the carpet has stains, the sliding glass window in the bedroom has no way of closing the blinds as the mechanism is broken, one of the beds had come apart and we had to fix it, the living room ceiling fan light doesn't really work. There are no blankets- just a comforter and sheet on each bed. The beds are in extreme need of new mattresses. The kitchen is one of the best stocked we've seen as far as dishes go. However as a word of caution- there is absolutely nothing in the way of pantry staples- We are used to at least some salt and pepper- be sure to bring your own. There were no coffee filters. We are used to receiving directions as far as what our obligations are prior to leaving and I assume you don't have to do anything as I couldn't find any information about that anywhere. In the future, we will book at a different house.

Purple Paradise

Loved this little cottage by the sea. It was clean when we arrived - we didn't need to contact anyone for anything. It was just what we wanted and I hope to stay there again.

Good family trip with a few issues

Overall, we enjoyed our stay but had a few issues that will keep us from renting this house again. Received message 4 days prior to travel that there was an issue with fridge and that fridge would be repaired on day we were to arrive. Also stated would take 12hrs to cool. It took 48 hrs to get cold. Had to keep meat in freezer to keep from spoiling. The property is used for beach access. People walking through the property next to cars, where we were cooking to access the beach. I reached to Vacasa on day one with no help on this. During our 6 day stay had hundreds of people walking through day and night. Zero privacy! The built-in blind in the master bedroom is broken open. Didn’t get to sleep in due to 0500 sun shining into room. I noted this in a previous comment but hasn’t been repaired. Upper outlets in the room 2 do not work.

Great location, beautiful place, major electrical issues.

I would rate this place 5 stars if it was not for the substantial electrical issues. Areas of the home would lose power for periods of time, weird power surges would start happening when running appliances. We went a few hours without power at one point after using the stove. If the electrical issues were addressed, I would book this place again, but I would not stay there again as is. Location is great. Place is clean and beautiful. Perfect for a family with kids when the wiring is fixed.

Overall the house was nice and right on the beach. There were more than enough beds but not comfortable at all. The lighting in the house flickered a lot. Could not use bathroom light and kitchen light at the same time. The home is older so may need some wiring updated. The TV’s did not work upstairs. There was a dvd player but no cable to connect to tv. The shades in the patio door in the main bedroom had shades build in and one side would not close completely.Our kids had their phones and iPad and watched them. We stayed on the beach mainly, so our stay was nice. It rained the first day bad and the wind was horrible. I thought the home was very shaky and it scared my kids along we my spouse and I.

Great, quick getaway

The property was perfect for what we were looking for, a quick spring break getaway. The house was the perfect size for us. Was great to be able to wake up to the beach view each morning. Could be updated slightly but overall was great for price.

As advertised, this home is right on the beach. The access was thee best! It was ideal for our family Spring Break. Everything needed in the house & so much to do in the Gulf Shores area. We will be back! Thank you!

Cute little older beach home

Beach is right out the back door! Great location! The beds are in desperate/immediate need of replacement. If you aren't worried about sleep then its a great place to stay! The beach being so close made up for lack of sleep, but wouldn't stay again based on the beds being so worn.

Perfect little getaway

Loved the house and the location! Right on the beach and hardly anyone around so it was very relaxing. Had all the amenities we needed and it was nice to have the washer and dryer. (Pack less clothes)

Quaint Beach Cottage

My mom and I stayed at Nova Grande for a few days. The property is as listed in the posting. While the property is a bit dated it was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of pots, pans, and utensils. Be aware there is no additional paper products, salt/pepper, ziplock bags, coffee filters, etc. while this wasn’t an issue for us I just remarked it because I am used to finding those things in most beach houses I rent. There is ample sleeping spaces for you and all your guests. The loft area would be great if traveling with kids. The house could use a bit of maintenance. There are missing handles on closet doors, the closet door in the back bedroom is off its track and I couldn’t figure out how to get it back on. The slider is missing off the blinds in the front room which was disappointing because the view would be amazing from the bed if you could slide the blinds open. We very much enjoyed ourselves during our stay and I would book again. This is the furthest west I have ever stayed in Gulf Shores and I loved the area. No high rise condos which equals a much less crowded beach. Nova Grande is a real find.

Good price but house needs work

One of the beds was broken. Stains on ceiling from last visitor. Cleaning crew was still cleaning at 4. So, late check in. Too many people access the beach through this property. Needs to be blocked. Good price and over all not bad but you get what you pay for.

Unclean and unsafe

Upon arrival to the house, we found garbage under the couches and end tables. Also, under the beds. And by garbage, I mean left over food wrappers, food pieces, Segal feathers, and various other little trinkets. There was a blood-stained blanket that was given to us to use (which I get happens) but I don't feel it should be left at a property used for guests. The pin pad to get into the house was old and kept breaking down on us. If we were all out of the house at one time, we definitely could have gotten locked out. The appliances were old and missing pieces. For example, the blender was missing its top. The crockpot was missing its turn dial. Most of the pots and pans need to be replaced. The shades on the windows did not work, and there was this magnetic piece that was supposed to control the shades going up or down. It broke and injured my hand. The loft upstairs swayed back and forth while the wind blew... it was kind of scary lol. And the strangest cherry on top was the mysterious vacuum cleaner... We were not given a vacuum cleaner. And it was stressful because the living room is carpeted. Gosh dang crumbs all over the carpet! We didn't say anything to the staff about this, but we were meaning to. On the second to last day of us being there, I left the house for a moment to run to the store. 4 people were still in the home while I was gone. They must have been in their rooms because when I arrived back from the store, a vacuum was sitting right in the living room. It was nice to finally have a vacuum, but the problem was that nobody in the home let a staff member in to put the vacuum there. I was never notified that someone was coming. And not one person actually saw or interacted with whoever brought the vacuum. This means that someone just let themselves in. I had a baby and two young children in the house. I find this extremely inappropriate. I sent an email about this to VACSA and have not received a response. So now I thought I would write a review about it since VRBO so kindly asked me to rate my experience. Go Packers!

Stop before Florida

It was a perfect place right on the beach for a short stay before Florida. Our granddaughter and son-in-law enjoyed their 1st time to beach. A couple things they need is better towels and update on some skillets.

Winter Break

Nova Grande was situated perfectly for us to enjoy our multiple day escape. It was conveniently located. The coast and within close proximity to sites in the area.

We enjoyed our stay.

We arrived to a plumber and air conditioning maintenance men. We were tired from traveling and dealt with that. I understand things happen. Chairs were broken on the deck. All the stairs looked rotten and Unstable…Roaches alive and dead were in kitchen and by the beds. It needs a face lift inside. . The furniture was soiled. It needs a ramp coming off back deck to the beach. It’s cozy. Area rug in living room needs to go, it would look so much better.

House needs updating.

House and deck needs updating. A fence or no trespassing sign needs to be put up as the public would constantly walk down the driveway and cut through the property to get to the beach. This caused an issue with privacy. Bugs were consistently in the bathroom off the kitchen. Stove top burners did not fit properly which caused issues when cooking. Spiral steps are tight and hard to maneuver especially when carrying luggage. Low water pressure made it difficult to get sand out of hair.
