Looking for a simple, laid back, affordable vacation in an unbeatable Gulf Shores location? This is the property for you! An easy walk to public beach access only a block away! Enjoy partial lagoon views from the deck. Paved walking trail on W. Lagoon Ave. This home features 1 bedroom with a queen bed and a full sized sleeper sofa in the living room making it perfect for a couple or small family. One full bathroom upstairs and a full bath with a shower in the laundry room downstairs. Updated kitchen equipped with the cookware and utensils needed to prepare a meal. Mini split and window unit heating and cooling. Wi-Fi and smart tv's are available - no satellite or cable. Popular Gulf Shores restaurants, shops, and entertainment all within minutes of this property. Come enjoy all that Gulf Shores has to offer!

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

* Free guest parking - room to park 2 vehicles on site.
* Amenities include free WiFi, 2 smart tv's, and fully equipped kitchen, outdoor deck.
* Linens come furnished, but please bring your own beach towels.
* Guests receive a “starter pack” of laundry detergent, dish washing detergent, one trash bag per trash can, one roll paper towels/toilet paper, and travel-sized soaps per bathroom.

Wonderful stay

We had a great stay. The location is in a great spot, close by everything, and walking distance to the beach. The owner was easy to communicate with, and the house was nice and clean, perfect for a small family get away.

Gulf Shores Get-away

The cottage was clean and well located for those who prefer to walk. It was just a few blocks to the beach in one direction and a great local restaurant in the other. Perfectly sized for 2 people, we had everything we needed (except a little more sun). Would recommend.

Spring Break

My daughter and I stayed for spring break. The house is in a great location, a short walk to the beach. It was clean and had everything we needed. Shonna was quick to respond in getting a maintenance item addressed, which was appreciated. We will definitely return.

Relaxing so convenient to everything.

We enjoyed going to play pickleball at the new courts in gulf shores. The house was so convenient to the beautiful beach. Could walk to restaurant and small grocery. loved eating most of our meals on deck. . Lots to do. And the check in was so easy. Hope to go back. Thank you

Dog friendly

Had a problem with air conditioning installed a new one the next day. Great location. Good restaurant one block away. Dogs are not allowed on beach but right next to us was the lagoon where our dog was able to swim and run along the sand.

The listing said there was a hot. Lie. Not hot tub, which was one of the reasons we rented it. It was clean an quiet. Needs some TLC and it would be a very nice place to stay

Easy Gulf Shores Shrimp Festival spot

Nice clean home. This home is in a great location! Close to everything, beach, restaurant, ice cream shop or small grocery store. We didn't have to get back into our car until it was time to go home. When we had questions the property manager responded in a timely matter. We will b e back!

Always a nice stay

I really enjoy staying at this location and have visited several times. It's always a great experience overall. My only minor complaint is that there were very few basic essentials stocked. For example, there was just one trash bag left by the housekeeper, and no mini toiletries like soap or shampoo (which wasn’t a big deal since I brought my own). I did have to make a trip to the nearest store to pick up things like salt and pepper, non-stick spray for cooking, and additional trash bags. It would be helpful if a few basics were available for convenience. Also, the mattress in the bedroom could use an upgrade or at least a topper to make it more comfortable. Aside from those small things, it was a great trip, and I look forward to coming back!

This place was just no right for us. We had to many problems. The bed was just to soft and caused back problems. Steps just did not work for us . But our host was very accommodating . Like the heating did not keep up with the temperature she got us a heater. If we had any problems she was very willing to fix what was needed

Cute small house

This house is cute and the kitchen has been updated. Kitchen is extremely well stocked! Nice range but no dishwasher. The mattress on the bed is way too soft and quite uncomfortable, needs replaced. Furniture in the living room (coffee table and end table) are rickety and need replaced and the two chairs are old and broken down. You sink way down into them when you sit down. The leather sofa is nice. There’s also a laundry room which is a plus.

Great for us

Very tight bedroom but overall we have no complaints. Perfect size for two. Keep in mind this place does not have central heat and air. You have to rely on window units for temp control. Just a short walk to the beach and the corner grocery store.

Girls trip.

Get location of the property. Beach located across the street. Owner was very quick to address concerns with stains on the bedding. Housekeeper brought new bedding promptly. Home was older but well kept. Noticed a dish not washed in the cabinet, but soap provided for cleaning. Great water pressure in the shower. Would stay here again for a quick beach getaway. If you want a luxury apartment this is not the place, but for a clean place near the beach and good pricing, this is the place.

Cute, little beach house

The house is well-kept; the location is great. It's within walking distance to the beach and very close to the central restaurants and shops in town. There are beach chairs, toys, boogie boards available in the basement, which was very convenient. There is is broken deck post topper that I cut my arm on twice; that needs to be fixed. The pull-out bed is really uncomfortable; there's barely a matress on it. The bed in the main room is on a piece of plywood that sticks out on the left side and my husband scraped his leg on it a few times. There are only 4 towels in the bathroom, which isn't enough for 3 people to use over multiple days. The bathroom also smelled like a public restroom. Overall, a decent place to stay, but it's probably more ideal for two people rather than a family of 3 or more.
