Located just steps from the beach, this penthouse level condo boasts a bright and serene interior with plenty of vacation perks like access to an outdoor pool and sauna. This Gulf-front condo is also near plenty of local attractions and activities including the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, Gulf State Park Pier, an amusement park, golfing, and dining.

After a full day of exploring the area or lounging by the zero-entry pool that overlooks the Gulf, come home to relax on the sofa and enjoy the cable TV. When the group gets hungry, take advantage of the well-equipped kitchen. Eat meals or play games together at the dining table. Rest up in the tranquil bedrooms and get ready for another day of vacation bliss. Start your next day off right with coffee on the balcony where you can enjoy the fresh air and spectacular water views. There’s something for everyone when you stay at San Carlos.

The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Beautiful view less than clean

The view. Nothing beats that view. It’s amazing. Some things to note. The balcony was lovely, unfortunately it did not have enough furniture. We had three plastic chairs, Two were broken, a two person small bench and a nice table with no chairs. One of the bathrooms had mold just above the shower stall. Someone did come to clean it but as we all know once mold is on dry wall, cleaning with bleach is not the answer it needs to be replaced. The furniture couch, beds, and chairs are older and are not as comfortable and could use replacing. One of the bedrooms didn’t have a blanket for the bed and there were no extras anywhere to be found. I have been in a few rented houses for vacations , and usually there are some items available upon arrival that are needed for a successful vacation like coffee! They have both a drip machine and a kcup machine. But there are no coffee filters, kcups in the condo. Also zero spices not even salt and pepper. There are a few dishwasher pods and two pacs of laundry detergent to use during your stay. We were also given one extra trash bag. They do also supply small shampoos and conditioners and dove soap bars in each bathroom. I know, I know it’s sounds like a bad review, it’s truthful not intended to be that. These are just a few things that my family had wished we knew before we booked. We still had a lovely time. We really loved the location. We would book here again but be prepared for the lack of amenities.

Family time.

We enjoyed our stay.. there were not many face rages or towels.. only one towel and two face rages per room. (We had an unexpected cost of purchasing those items). But the rooms were clean . We enjoyed ourselves and will return.

Great place, terrible management

I had a wonderful stay at this property. The place was great, they were responsive when we sent notes during our stay, view and proximity to the beach were fabulous, linens were a little sparse and there were not enough towels but overall we had a great trip and enjoyed this beautiful property. The management company however was infuriating after our trip. I left something at the condo that they found and even though my parents are still there in the same building they REFUSE to give it to them and are charging me for shipping to return it. I am so irritated I could explode. It’s a shame to have such a terrible Experience after such a wonderful vacation.

Loved it!!

We had 8 adults, 3 teenagers, and 1 toddler. We had plenty of room! We did bring a pack and play for the toddler to sleep in, and the teenagers slept on the pull out sofa and couch. The property was as close as you can get to the ocean and in walking distance to restaurants. We loved Sea n Suds, The Hangout, Mikees, The Oyster House, and The Steamer. The Surf Style across the street was very handy for any supplies you may have forgotten at home. We had a great time! We were able to buy 2 extra parking passes, but that may have been due to the low occupancy at the time. Dan the “MAN”ager was great to deal with. Every person was pleased with the property and we will be back again! Thanks San Carlos for a great family vacation!

Gulf Shores

The condo was not as nice as we thought it would be. We had trouble with the code and we called Vacasa and you and could not get it resolved. It ruined our first night because we were not able to go out to eat or to go to the beach. Disappointing night for Four retired schoolteacher‘s hoping to have a fabulous vacation! The condo had a beautiful view of the ocean. But there were stains on all furniture and the barstools were ripped. Honestly, I think you should give us our money back!

Great place - would come back

I’ll keep it quick and simple: accurate pictures, large space plenty of room for 8 ppl. Penthouse 20th floor, great view. King room bathroom very nice, king bed could be more comfy but not big deal at all. Great water pressure and heater. Quick elevators. Great stay for sure, would come back.

Beautiful view, great amenities

The view -- immediately apparent upon coming in the front door -- is stunning on this top-floor property. Having three of the bedrooms with attached bathrooms is a lovely boon for a family of any size. The rooms were clean, and the decor was tastefully beachy. Even a couple of basic beach toys and chairs were present in utility closets. The front door's deadbolt probably needs replacement soon, as does the weather stripping -- a strong wind out of the north (rare, as it happened only once in our five nights) can create a whistle. The facility also feels secure; several precautions are taken to ensure young children do not stray into the pool or out to the beach unsupervised. The workout room is wonderful, but the hours are a bit too restrictive. Check-in and check-out processes were both simple and clear with Vacasa. Water pressure in the showers was great (not an issue at all despite being on the 20th floor), too. We would DEFINITELY consider staying here again!

Property was very nice and as described. The only issue (which wasn't really an issue for me) was the TV in the master didn't have a working connection (satellite). This wasn't an issue with any of the other rooms.

Birthday Trip

We had an awesome time at this property. It was my daughters 16 birthday and she absolutely loved the penthouse vibe. The whole unit was clean and the view at night was amazing. Would definitely stay here again.
