Little Oar House is located at 2948 AL-180 in beautiful Fort Morgan/Gulf Shores Alabama. Our location is blessed with unblocked clear views of "both" the Gulf & Mobile Bay. It is a beautiful 2 Bedroom 2 Bath newly remodeled jewel with impact glass for safety and outside noise reduction (i.e. You can sleep in). We have 2 Queen beds and a single Bunk Bed, in addition there are 2 leather sofas that recline for additional guests.

Dog Friendly Beach - Keep them leashed unless nobody is around the let them RUN - they love it

Beach – a 4-minute walk from your rental to the beautiful sugar sands.

Mobile Bay water sports for Kayaking and Parasailing are directly across the street!!

Bring your boat as we have available parking on-site and launch piers nearby including the newly remodeled Fort Morgan Marina only 1-1/2 miles from our location.

Two of the top golf courses are located nearby - Kiva Dunes and The Peninsula.

Ferry – located 2 miles from our location to Dauphin Island (a must see as well)

3 new restaurants coming soon – existing restaurants include Tacky Jack's (1-1/2 miles), Sassy Bass (3 miles), Beach Club (5 miles).

Perfect stay

The house was wonderful! The kitchen was a dream, it was stocked with everything for cooking and baking! The pictures and description did not do the house justice. It was such a wonderful surprise. I love the location and our favorite spot at the house was underneath! I have nothing negative to say, everything was perfect.

Quaint & Quiet

We go to the beach every year and bring our pets. I have a wide age range of kiddos from teen thru toddler and between, plus we have dogs..... when I tell you that this was our absolute favorite stay that we have had? I mean it. The owners are on-site and you can tell they love and take care of this rental. They are super sweet, friendly, and even offered to puppy sit! Best vacation we have had in a VERY long time.

Awesome Vacation

We had a wonderful time at the Little Oar House. Skip (owner) was very accommodating and easy to work with. The home was very clean and fully stocked. We had a beautiful view of the gulf off the back deck and a short walk to the beach. Weather was perfect and we will definitely be back.....Highly recommend!

Peaceful and relaxing!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Little Oar House. It was very clean and comfortable. The beach was a short walk along a sandy path and then down a paved road. The views were wonderful and the deck was the perfect spot to end the day. Skip did a great job communicating in regards to location, check-in and what items were provided and what items you would need to bring. We would happily stay here again.

What a Place

Pictures don’t do it justice. And of all my years, never have I been to Fort Morgan but likely will go no where else (started to look at September already). Wonderful property, neighborhood, and owner!

Very clean and quiet

Facility was very clean and quiet. Well stocked with all of the essentials and check-in process was easy. The top bunk bed howeve was a little shaky so we didn't use it. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

Peaceful retreat

We love spending some time near the water. The Little Oar House gave us what we were looking for. The view of the Gulf, from the deck, was peaceful and calm. At the other end of the house was a view of Mobile Bay. It was absolutely wonderful to be surrounded by water. The walk to the Gulf was just a few minutes. Exactly what we wanted. Pictures online do not do the house justice. Lovely decor. Kitchen and living room is one large open room. The kitchen is fully stocked with just about every utensil, pots, pans, and small appliance you may need. There is not a table inside to eat at. There are stools at the counter that worked perfectly for us. There is a table and chair set on the deck if you want to eat outside. We stayed in the bedroom with the view of the Gulf. Bed was comfortable, and glad there was a footstool so I could get into bed easier. In the room is a corner shower, vanity, toilet with a door to it, and a very nice sized closet with a dresser and some hangers. The second bedroom had a queen bed bunk with a twin bed on top. This room had a view of the bay. The second bathroom was nice sized with a tub/shower. A nice sized vanity for my necessities. Below the house there is a picnic table, sink, and a bar area with stools. There is also a charcoal grill you can use. If you plan to have any meals at the house, I suggest you stop and get your groceries on your way in. There are a few stores within a few miles, but a grocery store is farther. There are some restaurants close to the house and more as you travel back towards Gulf Shores. Ft Morgan is a wonderful area that is not filled with tourist attractions. We did visit the historical site, Ft. Morgan that's a few miles west of the house. This is worth the time if you have any interest in history. My favorite place at the house was the deck. Morning tea with the Gulf breeze and sunshine hit the spot. We wanted to stay an extra day, but the house was already booked. Our host were wonderful and accommodating. They live right next to the house, so don't be surprised to see them. Their two fur babies are happy to great you! Would love to come back one day.

Nice escape from reality

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Little Oar House in Fort Morgan during the Christmas holidays. The house was nicely furnished and kitchen well stocked for our cooking needs. Our two small dogs also enjoyed their stay and made themselves right at home. Everyday we’d wake up, enjoy our coffee while watching the sun come up. In the evenings we’d stroll along the beach with our dogs, looking for seashells and watch the sun set. It truly was a relaxing getaway for us. Thank you to the owners for reaching out during our stay to check up on us to make sure everything was good. We love the area and plan to come back when we can. Again thank you! 😊🙏🏼💞
