You'll find serene coastal landscapes at Gulf State Park half a mile east, and countless family-friendly attractions - including Waterville USA, the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, and Pirate's Island Adventure Golf - just up Highway 59. This is a beautiful condo with great furniture and a gorgeous view. We had an issue with the refrigerator and called Vacasa and they were on top of it and it was resolved quickly!

Overall it was ok. Seems like this property is owned by a property management company so you don’t get any extras like seasonings, extra trash bags, had basically a pinch of salt and pepper, etc. The condo itself was clean but needs some tlc. Not sure if I’d stay in this unit again although the property is cool.

Me and my husband have never taken our kids to the beach. This was also my husband’s first time at the beach. This place absolutely exceeded our expectations!!!! 10/10 will be booking every summer! So convenient to the beach. The balcony was the best and the big kitchen/dining table for our family dinners. The pool was a hit as well for us adults and kids. Beautiful condo and beautiful view!!!! Very clean and cute!!!!

The stay was great expect the day we arivved the refrigerator was not cooling. They kept telling me they would let the local team know but nothing was ever done about it. Everything else was great! Wonderful trip with lots of memories made.

Short stay

Had a 3 night stay between Christmas and New Years and everything was great. The only negative was the number of restaurants within walking distance that were closed during this time but there were many great places to eat.

First Beach Trip

What a perfect experience all around!! We brought our 1yo and 3yo to the beach for the first time and this place was great!! The condo was clean, comfortable, great location, good amenities and easy to find. It’s located on the 18th of 19 floors and at the very end of the hall. Perfect! We would definitely stay again.

Very comfortable, clean condo in great location!

The condo was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated and had all we needed for an enjoyable stay. However, our last night there turned into a nightmare. The latch on the balcony sliding door was loose and latched shut while we were all on the balcony. Vacasa customer service were NO help! I called to report our dilemma to them at 10:30 p.m. and were told their maintenance man would be available to help us at 9:00 a.m., to call a locksmith or the fire dept. no locksmiths were open. The fire dept would not come. Fortunately, Lighthouse security/maintenance were vigilant and determined to not allow the 4 of us in our mid 60’s to spend the night on the balcony. After multiple attempts and with the assistance of the local police dept. we were “rescued” at 2:00 a.m. I notified Vacasa again at that time and expressed my disappointment with their lack of interest in our situation. A report was to be made and I was to be contacted the next day about possible compensation for our inconvenience. I never heard back from them and won’t be staying at any of their properties again!

Highly Recommend!

Beautiful Property, exactly like the pictures shown! Very clean. Beautiful view. Property staff, very friendly and helpful. Living room couch in desperate need of replacement. One corner of sectional completely broken down. Dish washer was a little tricky, broken inside door, but still operable. Nevertheless, we highly recommend and will be back!

No king sheets for king beds

All was pretty good except we had 2 king beds and only one set of king sheets. All other sheets DID NOT fit the beds, and there was no where near enough wash rags and towels for 6 bathers!

Wonderful condo

Beautiful unit with high ceilings which make it spacious. Decorated nicely, comfortable beds and large patio. Furniture was nice and had all the amenities we were looking for. Will definitely be staying again!

Lighthouse 1813

We loved this unit! It was clean and beautiful. The balcony was so nice. We didn’t use the fold out couch so I can’t comment on that. The guest shower was leaking but the owner let us know and offered to fix it but we advised to wait until we left. It was fine. We had 4 adults and 1 child and had plenty of room. The pools and beach access were wonderful. Close to great restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay again!

Shabby, dirty, nice decor to distract you

Walking in the condo had a strong, mildew, musky odor. The top of the fridge (its a short fridge), shelves in the bathroom, decorative bottles on the wall are very dusty. Exhaust fan in the bathroom is filthy and there is black and gray dust on the surrounding ceiling and upper part of the bathroom door. Dirty hand prints on the primary bathroom door. The sink in the hall bath is not attached to the vanity, it's propped up with 2 pieces of wood! The whole sink shifts and wobbles because it's not attached to anything. Pillows on the primary bed are flat and hard as a rock, you can't fluff them, they just fold. Primary bed is hard and a very cheap mattress, pull up the sheets and look for yourself. This was mentioned in previous reviews as well. As mentioned by a guest review from August 2021 (one year ago!) The fridge door seal needs to be replaced. It is not attached to the door and the door doesn't close and seal unless you really push on it. Don't count on small-medium kids closing it adequately so your food doesn't spoil. The unit's HVAC is terrible. Also mentioned by other guests in previous reviews. None of the rooms get cool, but the bunk room had almost no air flow and there is not a fan. The decor is as depicted in the photos. We love this condo complex (vrbo rules don't allow reviews to include the name /unit) and have stayed here 3x however I do NOT recommend this particular unit. Also of note, but not taken into consideration of my review, the unit above us experienced a problem with their in unit hottub. We were making supper and water began running out of the smoke detector, recessed light and emergency speaker in the ceiling. My husband ran upstairs to speak with the occupants of that unit while I reported the issue to Vacasa. The on-site maintaince responded promptly and confirmed the hot tub issue was the source. The occupant of the unit on the floor above us showed us a photo he took of standing water behind the access panel of the hot tub. There was an electrical outlet (not GFI) laying face up in the water. Thankfully the leak into our unit prompted the occupants to remove the children from.the hot tub.

Needs DEEP cleaning!

When we arrived condo was almost exactly as described in listing! Adorable decor! The balcny was amazing! We were so excited to have arrived! Noticed immediately the room that was to have 2 twin bunks is not actually twins. Our 17 year was able to squeeze in lower bunk tho so she could have privacy. A few things we began to notice: Old food caked in lid of garbage can Half drank water bottle left on night stand Dust caked on base boards Mold spots on ceiling in master bath 1 Lamp didn’t work in master Then when we pulled out pull out couch before bed and there were Cheerios and what appears to be dried up food or vomit on mattress pad!!! I let property management know through text and follow up call! They agreed this was completely unacceptable and they would contact me in the morning as to plan. My son ended up just sleeping on couch as we put pull out away. No one should have to sleep on that. I got some blankets out of master closet that appeared to be dirty or stained. Pillows also appears to be heavily stained. They never contacted me again but while down at beach the next day someone came in and appeared to attempt to clean garbage can and left pile of sheets on kitchen counter. I made it clear on prev phone call I should not have to change bedding and someone should take care of that for us which property manager agreed to but did not happen. The pull out bed was untouched and we obviously were expected to change bedding which we did not. My adult son ended up sleeping on couch the rest of the week. Overall the condo was a great location just extremely disappointed in cleanliness and follow up to concerns! To pay the money we paid to stay there for a week, dirty condo and bedding and lack of follow up was completely acceptable!!!

Issues throughout stay with AC.

The AC was not functioning correctly throughout our stay. Repair man came 3 times, each time taking up 2 hours of our vaycay and leaving a big mess.

Great Stay & Great Condo!

Great condo that was decorated great with beach theme! It was clean, well-equipped, great location, great beach view, & in a great condo complex! We will definitely stay there again!
