The Stables is a fully self-contained studio on 200 acres just outside of beautiful, historic Gundaroo, NSW.
Detached from the main residence, guests will be surrounded by farm and native animals. As a wildlife release ground, the property is frequented by kangaroos, wallabies, wallaroos, wombats and echidnas. Bird enthusiasts will also take delight in the visiting bird life which includes the resident wedgetail eagles.
Guests have access to the property with hikes available in a national park like setting.

Located only 4 mins from the Trail, both rider, horse and support vehicles and can overnight with stables, round yards and feed available.
Taking advantage of Canberra’s amazing paragliding and hang-gliding sites? No problem, we are located less than 10 mins from the Lake George launches (South and Geary’s) and can offer a drop off and pickup service (unless you choose to land back at the property!!)
Simply want to explore the region? We are surrounded by some of the best cool climate wineries around. (Lerida Estate and Tallagandra Hill to name a few). Better yet, dine at the critically acclaimed, Grazing Restaurant in Gundaroo whilst exploring the history of the village and the origin of Banjo Paterson’s famous poem ‘The Gundaroo Bullock’.
