"Large room with modern facilities; helpful staff and great dinner and breakfast buffet. We weren't happy that the pool was closed during our stay, and would not have booked to stay at Crowne Plaza if we knew the pool was shut. Also had a dust mite allergy during my stay"

"I want to begin this review by saying i was thoroughly impressed with this hotel and staff. I would be so bold as to say this hotel is the BEST in all of Gurugram, and i say that with confidence because i have stayed at many of the 4 and 5 star hotels here. The GOOD: Special thanks must be given to Sylvester because his professionalism and indepth explanation is what ultimately led me to book my stay at the Taj City Gurgaon. I usually do indepth research and when i came across the interview he did, i had a great feeling about my stay. He is just as pleasant and professional as he was on the video. I truly believe he needs to be given a higher position. I only plan to return if he is still employeed there on my next visit. I would also like to thank a couple of others but unfortunately I lost the paper with there names on it. There was one housekeeper named Shively and one female that worked with Sylvester, I cannot remember her name, that also helped me out tremendously. The rooms were prestine, the pool and lounge areas are perfect. The Thai restaurant was top notch, I highly recommend the lobster. If there is any issue, however slight, the chef will correct it immediately. Shoutout to him for the amazing lamb dish he replaced for the duck dish i ordered and did not like. Everyone there was so helpful and accommodating."

"This stay fell below expectations. Reception was poor. Apart from Abdu and Sourav who were professional and helpful, most staff appeared disengaged, avoided eye contact, and did not offer any sense of welcome. The room size was average but noises were a major issue. Other guests conversations and doors banging, made it difficult to rest. Breakfast selection was limited, with no fresh juices or fresh pastry options. The so-called “fitness studio” is tiny and far from what one would expect at this level. Overall, this property feels closer to a two-star experience. Significant improvements in service attitude and facilities are needed."

"ABSOLUTE DISAPPOINTMENT!!! I was flabbergasted at how awful this place is being ran. From the time I checked in to the last moment I received nothing but poor service. I first checked into the hotel and had to carry my own bags up. I stopped off by the restaurant/bar area and ordered a dirty martini. I was served a drink with spoiled olives inside. When I requested a different cocktail I was told they did not have grenadine. As I was waiting a roach ran across my foot in the restaurant. The place was completely dysfunctional. I had to send food orders back that were simple request like no dressing on the salad. I was bothered multiple times about what beverage I wanted during a breakfast and was left completely thirsty because the waiter forgot he even asked me anything. The housekeep sit around in the empty rooms playing on their phones while there is large amounts of mold under the shelves in the showers. The final straw happened at checkout. After I initially checked in I requested a cab at 6am sharp to get me to the airport. I was promised it would be ready and when I came down to checkout there was no cab. The concierge was like a deer in the head lights had no clue what I was talking about. They made me wait 16 mins for a cab. This place is a huge "DONT GO""

"Stay away! Pathetic experience. Firstly the room was not ready, so they moved me to a building next to this booked residency. That building was literally a broken building with rooms. I had no choice, but to stay as already exhausted from travel. My room had no keys so then they again moved me to another "spare" room. In the evening the Room got locked out and the keys won't work. Even maintenance guy could not open it and I was left outside for 45mins. Maintenance guy they told me this building no one ever comes and someone was locked out previous week as well. I was told to exit from the bathroom side door and not use main door. This is a nightmare situation any guest should not go through. At check-in I specifically told to make sure to give a proper room. Only charging money without any proper care for guests."
