"We had a comfortable stay, and the location was very convenient for exploring the city. Although the room wasn't particularly large, it had been recently renovated, featured a double bed, and was clean, comfortable, and well suited to our short stay. This is a straightforward, no-frills property with the essential amenities, and it met our expectations. A good continental buffet as well as freshly cooked hot breakfast options available to order, providing a great start to the day. For international travellers, it's worth noting that air conditioning is not a standard feature in many UK hotels, so it's worth checking before booking if this is important to you. A fan is provided for warmer weather. Similarly, bar fridges are not commonly included in UK hotel rooms, so it's best not to expect one. As the property is an older building, some noise transfer is to be expected. Sound carries along the corridors, and the timber floors do creak in places. Overall, we felt the property offered good value for money in a convenient location. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, character-filled place to stay and appreciate the charm of an older building, this is a solid option."
Heart of beautiful Betws-y-Coed - well-equipped Victorian stone railway cottage

"A lovely comfortable cottage in the heart of the village with great parking a lovely back terrace. We were at first nervous about being so close to the train line, but they turned out to be very quiet and infrequent and in the end added to the charm. The cottage was right in the center of everything, but still managed to be private and quiet. We did some walks up into the woods right from the house and also there were plenty of hikes a short drive to Snowdonia."

"Room was clean with bath towels, hand wash, shampoo provided. Small shower cubicle. Plentiful storage in room. Hand towel and more clothes hangers would be useful. Housekeeping only available by request from nearby Indian restaurant. Guests have access to dining room with fridge and also outside terrace. Central position in Betws y coed. Would stay there again without hesitation."
