"The Annexe Rooms are very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Food overpriced for what you get, limited menu, though breakfast is good. Charge of £20 a night for your dog, regardless of size is, in our opinion, excessive. A cashless hotel! Overall a pleasant retreat and very pet friendly."

"The location was great, and the hotel was fantastic. The rooms were clean, and the beds were very comfortable. However, the hotel’s email and advertisement stated that a restaurant and room service were available for ordering food. One evening, we tried to eat at the restaurant but were told that it was unavailable because they were busy catering for a large group. We also tried to order room service, but were told that they were too busy to take our order. Thankfully, there were plenty of places to eat around town, so we were able to go out for dinner instead. Apart from this disappointment with the food service, everything else was great, and we had a lovely stay."

"The breakfast buffet was excellent although the hot buffet would benefit from closed containers as the food soon became cold from the open ones. The rooms were well heated and ventilated. All the staff were excellent and very dog friendly. My only complaint was although I had asked for a ground floor room due to problems with my knees this was not available and I had to manage the stairs which was difficult. On the whole à very pleasant break"
