This was my first time staying in a Ryokan, the staff were very helpful, the room was a fantastic size, and the personal onsen was perfect. Transport here is surprisingly convenient for being in the mountains. The only downside I had was whomever was staying on the floor above was very heavy footed and caused me to wake up at 3am.

Very nice stay. Staff was lovely. The room was clean and very spacious. The onsen was absolutely magical. Not many restaurants near by that open past 8 so organize your meals accordingly. Also taxis can be quite difficult to get. Only issue was that the location on Hotels.com was wrong and it took us a while to find it as it isn’t written in English on google maps. But that is a very minor issue.
