Newly renovated beach home on Lake Erie, home to some of the greatest fresh water fishing in the world. Fresh water diving lake erie has more than 200 shipwrecks!! Fun for everyone, with a 45-minute drive to Niagara Falls or a 40-minute drive to get to the vineyards to visit the wineries of Niagara. Or you can just stay in and stay on your private beach and relax.

Great View!

We had a great time staying at the house. The owners have thought of everything. Well stocked kitchen with everything you need. It was quiet, clean with an incredible view. We got our kayak and paddle boards out on the water a few times. Walking distance to Hippo’s is a plus and you will definitely enjoy the food. If we are back in the area we would love to stay again!

Great stay!

Clean, modern interior makes for a very relaxing stay. Enough bedrooms to accomodate several people. Nice patio. Beach access as advertised. Rocky beach. Waterfront had a lot of algae you have to walk through if you want to swim, but other than that very pleasant to spend time by the lake. Lots of great things to do in the surrounding area within 30min drive.

Lakeside Retreat

We love the beaches at Lowbanks and it was so nice to be able to find such a beautiful cottage right by the lake that allowed dogs! We truly enjoyed our stay! Hippos was great for a quick snack as well it’s not even a 5 min walk from the cottage! :)

Lovely Cottage by the Lake

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cottage. Exactly as described but the pictures really don’t do it justice. Great place to walk our dog too. We would definitely recommend it and would love to stay again if we are ever back in the area. Loved it!!!

Excellent Place

When you first walk in you are surprised how big and clean the main room is. Its what wonderful having linens supplied and not have to worry about that. The location is great just pop over to hippos for lunch or dinner. Always a pleasant breeze sitting on the front deck. Highly recommend this place for a great place to relax.

Lake house retreat

This was the second time we’ve stayed at this cottage. It was as lovely as the first time. You are in walking distance of food and you can drive 10 minutes up the road to the public beach access as well. The cottage itself is very well kept and the fact that they allow us to bring our two dogs is just amazing, It can be so hard to find vacation rentals that allow larger dogs and has room for 6 people. I would recommend to anyone looking for a cottage rental right on the lake. :)

Beautiful location, lovely beach

We have a great stay. Tuesday- Friday at the end of June 2022. Had a great time. Combination of trips to Crystal Beach over the border and hangingout on this rentals private beach. Had a great time cooking over the fire pit multiple meals! The inside kitchen was also easy to cook side dishes in. Lots of space for our group and seating areas. Would definitely rent again.

Beautiful cottage

Beautiful cottage with all the amenities you could ask for. We stayed for 6 days. We had a wonderful stay which included 4 adults and a 3 year old. Lots of thoughtful things for guests included. We enjoyed the board games and corn hole! A short drive to Wainfleet where you will find just the loveliest stretch of beach and crystal clear water and it’s free! Short drive into Dunnville if you happen to forget something or need anything. We will definitely be back!

Lowbanks Getaway

This weekend was a sister’s getaway for my two sisters and myself. We had a fabulous time. The cottage was exactly as we saw online and more. Spotless, modern and very comfortable, it was the perfect spot for us. Very relaxing with our own little beach area and campfire pit. A minor problem with the wifi was corrected by the owner with no hesitation. I highly recommend this home. We will definitely book again.

A Lovely Family Stay

The cottage was super clean, light and bright, with new clean sofas and chairs and lovely decor. It was well equipped with everything you would need. A big wrap around porch with lots of seating and cushions. Great beds and linens. The host and neighbours were very nice. We went berry picking, and my amateur Indiana Jones husband was super excited to find artifacts (just looking, never digging) in the back cornfield. Easy strolling with the baby along the lake. So a good time was had by all.

Serene View

The view of Lake Erie is magnificent. I really enjoyed the sunrise. Hard to call this a cottage is really more like a house. Very well laid out comfortable and equipped. Super clean. I liked the rural vibe in that area. It was a nice drive both to Port colborne and Welland . Also Rock point provincial Park was great. My husband and I and her grandchildren enjoyed looking for fossils and found plenty of them. Devin was readily available when I needed to clarify anything. We have stayed in many VRBO accommodations and this rated in the top tier.

Family time at lakehouse

The property is nicely renovated with all the comforts of home and a well stocked kitchen. The beds and linen were comfy with lots of space for our family of 4. During our stay (Aug) the water was warm but the beach was quite rocky. The lake bottome is sandy once you get out from the shore. Hippos is a nice place to grab a bite and drink, just a few doors down. Our kids enjoyed seeing the horse and goats at the hobby farm (10 min walk). The road between the house and beach was somewhat busy during the day but quiet at night. Good star gazing if you get a clear evening. Was a fun week at the lake!
