Gwen and Ken were so hospitable and accommodating. With a late arrival, they went out of their way to make sure that I was safe and had nothing to worry about. Truly grateful for my time there and would not think twice about going back when in Hamilton.

You could not ask for better accommodations. Six stars for the breakfasts. Gwen was a great host and she was so much fun to talk to. She was well versed in the local area and so much more. She travels the local areas and knows the best shopping places, the best places to eat and how to be smart taking in the sites. If we pass this way again, it is a must.

The hosts, were very friendly and accommodating. I arrived later than planned, and had some food allergy considerations that they were most were quick to address for me. I had a two day course I had to attend, and the property was within a 6 min walk of where I needed to be, which was great! The home is situated on a quiet street that overlooks the city valley and waterway. Lots of great dining in the area. The room I had was a single bed with it's own ensuite. The room was well-appointed and cozy. It's an older character home so it isn't without its squeaks and sounds, but I would recommend this property for anyone looking for a place to stay close to the area! Thanks, Gwen & Ken!

The hosts Glenn and Ken were so warm and attentive in all areas of my stay. They were so helpful in navigating my way around the city and to secure transportation. Breakfast was so delicious while meeting my need to be gluten and dairy free. I literally was not hungry until dinner time! Slept wonderfully in a clean, cozy, comfortable room! Looking forward to staying here again when I return to Hamilton. Highly recommend Rose Arden B & B, especially single women travelers!

Our stay at the Rose Arden bed-and-breakfast was exemplary. The owners went above and beyond to take care of us and satisfy our every need. They served wonderful, nutritious, gourmet breakfasts in their beautiful dining room. It felt like a five star restaurant. Their home is filled with beautiful art and ceramics that they have created themselves. It is a lovely, old home that is spotlessly clean and has a special sun room that overlooks the Escarpment. We would definitely recommend it to everyone.

This cozy property is nicely situated over looking Burlington Bay. The host is friendly and very personable. We found her helpful and accommodating. The only thing that is a negative is there are many stairs going to the rooms. This is just the way the house is built but it may be an issue if there are problems climbing stairs if mobility is a factor.

Charming old house but tiny room and bathroom. Good breakfast but alarms every five minutes to remind you that you are getting close to the check out time very annoying. Wi-fi and TV did not work. I do not recommend this B&B.

Amazing place. 125yr old Victorian home. Beautiful done. So Charming. Gwen was amazingly friendly. Breakfast was fabulous. The sitting room with fireplace, over looks the mountain view, over the city and lake. Wow!! Amazing sunsets and rise. I Can't stop looking out the window!! I will be coming back here for sure! Thank you for a great sleep (bed was so comfortable and great pillows) and a deep tub, great for soaking in!!! Such a quite relaxing time. Highly recommend 😄👍
