Sails and Sunsets: One of the Best Views on the Lake!

Sails & Sunsets is located on the east side of Keuka Lake just across the lake from the Bluff. This is the widest stretch of water on Keuka with panoramic views of the Bluff and all three branches! Located across the lake from the Keuka Yacht Club you can watch the billowing sails during sailboat races. This location offers many activities sure to please everyone. The neighborhood is recognized as a friendly, peaceful, family setting.

Given the favored openness of this lake house you can see beautiful lake views from the living room, the dining area, and also the very well equipped kitchen which offers an expansive lake view. You are surrounded by spectacular lake views whether you are reading or watching TV in the living room, gathering food in the open kitchen, or dining at the cherry table. And the spacious top floor loft is perfect for relaxing or reading. One can enjoy the incredible beauty of dramatic sunrises AND sunsets from all of these open areas and also from the large upper front deck which is a favorite spot during the daytime and also at night for viewing the stars, moon, and the peacefulness of the lake.

The water gets deep gradually and the pebble beach offers a great place for the children to play and become comfortable swimming and boating. This setting is much loved by children and appreciated by families. Both children and adults love to carefully inspect the beach and collect small treasures waves wash in.

Sails and Sunsets provides high speed Internet and four TVs with ROKU streaming. The walk-out ground level game room offers a large screen TV, a ping pong table and a foosball table. This is perfect for rainy days. There is lots of space for children to play in this open area plus comfortable seating for watching TV. The tables and chairs in the game room are perfect for enjoying board games and puzzles. Dog owners and people fishing at odd hours love the fact they can easily exit this game room and gather their gear from the large ground level deck that is just outside the door. A picnic table on this deck provides space for dining or placement of gear. You can choose the upper sunny deck or the shade offered by this ground level deck, both overlooking the lake.

Two of the bedrooms have been furnished with local Mennonite custom made handcrafted beds and dressers and the master bedroom features a hand hewn lodge pole pine custom bedroom suite made in Sandpoint Idaho. The bedrooms are large and beautifully furnished with comfort as highest priority.

Sails and Sunsets is located on a very quiet dead end lane. Those of you who enjoy walking will especially take pleasure in taking walks along this level lane which borders the lake. Parking is on level ground with space for four vehicles. Award winning Weis Winery and the beautiful French winery, Domaine Lesurre, are an easy, very brief walk from Sails and Sunsets. The Glenn Curtiss Museum is nearby in Hammondsport and the popular Windmill Farm and Craft Market is not far. Casual lakeside dining is available at the historic Switzerland Inn one mile away.

Two kayaks and necessary life preservers for adults and children are available for use.

Occupancy: This property is closely monitored for responsible renting. The maximum occupancy of each home is the number of guests allowed on the premises at any given time. This includes both day and overnight guests as well as all children including infants.

1. You will receive an email upon confirmation with a link to our Guest License Agreement which is a copy of our Rental Rules that must be signed and returned within 7 days of receiving.
2. Smoking is not allowed in any rental property. This includes vaping and e-cigarettes.
3. Homes are not handicap accessible, unless stated in the description.
4. Air conditioning is not available unless listed as an amenity. If available, air conditioning is considered a seasonal amenity and is only available May 15 - October 15.
5. Homes are not guaranteed allergen-free, even those that do not allow pets.
6. Docking is not guaranteed if water levels are low and/or high due to seasonal weather and climate changes.
7. Outdoor amenities, including furniture, watercraft, and firepit are not available between October 15 - May 15.
8. 2 dogs allowed maximum and $100 plus tax non-refundable pet fee applies per dog.
