"It’s a hotel from another era, but that is reflected in the highly affordable price. It was not immaculate, but it was fairly clean (and the important surfaces were clean). The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a motel style room with the door in front, but felt very secure- as it was a brick front with no windows and a thick door. The windows are in the back of the unit with a view of the lake and a nice balcony with a couple chairs and a table! All things considered: Thumbs up!"

"I usually stay here once or twice a year. It fits what I generally need, an inexpensive room, clean with a shower and comfortable bed. I have noticed the maintenance has gone down a bit over the years. For example, in my latest stay, my romm had only 2 working electrical outlets. One part of a lamp on the left side of the bed and one across the room. The plug and light fixture on the right side were completely non-functional. The double socket in the bathroom was also non-functional. A good stay overall, but maintenance is needed in some rooms."

"Wonderful from check in to check out. Staff went above and beyond from the gentleman at check in (can't remember his name) to Candi at check out. Dakota and maintenance team were great with a problem I had--storms kept knocking tv/wi-fi out. Restaurant staff was friendly and fast, complimentary breakfast was excellent. I can't say enough great things about the weekend. I would definitely recommend Kenlake Resort and the cabins. Well worth the money, and much better value than a traditional motel/hotel stay. Thank you all Kenlake staff!!"

"Originally thought the house was close to the lake, but it wasn't. The outdoor entertainment area was not clean, broken limbs, leaves everywhere. The inside wasn't very clean either. There were dead bugs and gunk above the stove area. The stairs to the loft and lower area were really steep, so you need to be careful."
