"Lovely grounds and excellent staff. The deluxe room was nice. It was tired, it would benfit from a fixutres and fitting refresh. We were comfortable and I wouldn't let this stop me booking again. The jacuzzi was not operational on both day and this was disappointing. I feel something could have been done to compensate for this. The pool was also a touch cold for me. I booked 2 treatments. I was initially over charged for these but this was rectified when I made it known. Cocktails were fantastic although expensive, especially with service charges added on!"

"I’ve stayed here many times before and was sadly disappointed this time. On arrival the receptionist was offhand verging on rude. There was a kettle in my room but no base with a plug. No shower gel in the bathroom and no hot water this morning. My room was near a generator (I realise this is just bad luck of course) so I got very little sleep. Overall the experience was very below par I’m afraid…."

"For the price, it was a good solution to needing a base for a work meeting. Rooms very small and outdated but clean. Plenty of parking and decent breakfast included. "

"We stayed in room 7, and went to bed at around 11.30pm. The room was so noisy from the bar area until around 1am. The room facilities were poor, lots of maintenance issues like no toilet roll holder, loose shelf, loose hook on back of door. The shower was luke warm and felt like needles. The window didn’t shut properly and the pillows were wafer thin. The bin hadn’t been emptied properly from previous guest there was a tooth pick in there!! For £180 per night there was a lot wrong with this room."
