"On site parking was a bonus and the atmosphere . Very quiet and restful stay, and easy to find."

"This is a mixed review. From the pictures given on expedia you are expecting a large hotel. It is not, it is a terraced house with multiple rooms in a run down area but having said that, the host was lovely, the property although needs work, is clean and tidy and very quiet. The bed was comfortable and the tea/coffee and biscuits were a very nice addition. It has a large smart TV which has a great reception. I was pleasantly surprised"

"Lovely stay in newly renovated en-suite room - freshly cooked excellent breakfast. Delicious reasonably priced food. Comfy bed, quiet, warm. Beautiful village and you’re right in the centre here."

"Great location for Saltburn & Whitby, lovely, quiet village. Sunday lunch was delicious, big portions, very good value for money. Would highly recommend. The room was clean & very comfortable with fantastic views. The bed was very comfy too. The staff were all very friendly and attentative. Will definitely visit again. "
