Wonderful Stay!

I was in town for a dog show. I had never stayed at this location. I was pleasantly surprised! The hotel was quiet and friendly. The rooms were spacious and clean.

Stopover to Florida

The hotel was clean. We wanted on the first floor so we switched to a queen. The rooms are small. Not a fan of the 100$ incidental fee which isn't reimbursed until after you check out and they make sure you have not damaged anything. Have to wait a few days for that credit to appear. The clerk at the front desk was very accommodating and helpful. She helped with our tv and provided helpful dinner options. It is right off the highway so very

The clerk seemed to be on some mood altering substance. Check in was a very long process. The room reeked of urine! We left immediately rather than deal with the clerk again. I would not recommend this place.. ever!

We have stayed at the Hartselle Red Roof Inn over the last 15 years. The facility is a shadow of its former self. The southern hospitality is lacking. The shower floor was pitched and drained poorly. There was still debris in the drain. The room had the odor of humidity and mold.

They have no elevator, seems like the property owners are just trying to do everything as cheap as possible, TV did not work in first room and blow dryers were not working in both rooms.

We were down graded from a double queen bed room to a single queen bed room and was not given a refund for the price difference. The bathroom was a handicap bathroom, but the shower curtain rod fell multiple times when we barely touched it. The seal for the shower floor has partially come up so water was all over the bathroom floor.

Won't go there again

The 1st room hadn't been cleaned. The second room was clean but no bar soap. The lady at the reception desk had to help get our TV to work. We had to slam the door to have it shut, otherwise it stayed open. The phone in the room did not work. This hotel reuses the door key sleeves. Our sleeve had a lot of witeout over previous room numbers. The big plus for this hotel was the receptionist who signed us in and helped us with the TV. She had put us down for a wake-up call and we were going to cancel it only to find out the phone didn't have a dial tone anyway.

HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT

Absolutely a horrible experience the manager was absolutely the most rude person EVER. First off i rang the bell for service and when he came out of the office you could tell he had been asleep I went to check in it was 12 he said check in was at 3 i said ok no problem. I came back at 2 to see if i could watch a football game in the lobby he said we dont have tv hooked up. I then asked if i could please check in at 230 so i could watch the game he said he didn't like my attitude and canceled my room. i will never ever stay here. He needs to be fired

My room Stunk with cigarette smoke, desk clerk swore the room was cleaned. I washed out the BLACK air filter, and had to burn candles the entire stay just to get something that smelled breathable. I'll never stay there again.

Very disappointed with breakfast. It was supposed to be hot breakfast,the only hot things were waffles (horrible batter).One kind of bread(only white),cheap,small muffins,2 kinds of cereal.Butter in a huge container and jelly. No water for tea;milk and juice were available.
