Comfortable 3+ Bedroom Home Near Pleasant Bay (1472)

Enjoy this large Harwich 3+ bedroom home located in a scenic, well located neighborhood. Less than a mile to a sheltered Pleasant Bay Beach at Jackknife Cove at the Chatham/Harwich shoreline for swimming, sunbathing, and boating. Kayak or walk the spectacular Monomoy River Conservation Land just around the corner on Bay Road. This lovely rental is fully equipped with your favorite amenities for the perfect vacation. This first level of the home features a living room, dining room, newly remodeled kitchen with breakfast bar, as well as two bedrooms, each with a queen size bed. The first level even includes Central A/C. Each level of the home features a recently remodeled, full bathroom. On the lower level of the home is a cozy family room with digital, cable TV and DVD player, and a full sleep sofa equipped with 4" memory foam topper for extra comfort. Also a remodeled bedroom with two twin sized beds. Both lower level rooms offer a window a/c unit. Other added amenities include WIFI and an outdoor enclosed shower. **This rental is non-smoking only. No pets - no exceptions.** An administrative fee and applicable taxes may apply. Linens not provided. Guests may rent linens or bring their own.

Everything was as-described. Well equipped kitchen, grill worked, cable TV was nice (usually you just get a fire Stick at VRBOs). Beds were comfortable. Great location for seeing Cape from Sandwich to Wellfleet, which we got to. Super clean. No bugs, nothing. Nice outdoor shower. Nearby Red River beach is great!

Nice place

Very nice, tidy house. Extremely clean. Comfortable beds, cute room for the kids. You’ll have to drive everywhere, but it’s centrally located and close to the grocery store and cvs.

Great location, accommodated our family well. There were some comfort and safety issues. The water temperature regulation in the downstairs shower left my son scalded twice when someone had flushed the toilet or used the cold water at the same time he was showering. Throw rugs were tripping hazards, the couches and chairs were very low and not good for the crew to get up off of. At least 1 dining room chair was quite wobbly. Not enough comfortable seating all together. The grill was filthy, there was food in the burners on the stove, and sticky spots in front of the couches upstairs and downstairs. The oven took 2 hours to cook bacon, and 3 hours to cook chicken wings. The dryer took 3 cycles to almost dry a small load of laundry. We ended up having to air dry. There was half a roll or less of TP in each bathroom. You are met with a wet mildew smell upon opening the front door. Hence the need for a dehumidifier in the lower level. The light switch to the upstairs bathroom is very difficult to switch on due to the decorative switch plate.

Perfect Cape Cod Rental

I am so happy I chose this rental for our week stay. My family rents a house every year on the Cape, and we were beyond satisfied with our stay. The place was very cozy and incredibly clean. Harwich is the area we normally stay in and we were very happy with how close it is to the beaches we love. Just a short drive to the cute beach- pleasant bay. A drive from our favorite beaches in Chatham, nauset beach, and brewster. Very close to the bike bath as well. I was very happy with my stay. Thank you

great stay in quiet neighborhood

This was one of the nicest properties we have rented. We were already familiar with neighborhood. Stop/Shop is right around corner along with a Dunk's, liquor store, restaurant, pizza, gas, etc. Just down street is Corner Store which makes the best breakfast burritos. You are just minutes from Main St Chatham, Harwichport, Orleans. Also close to beaches ( we tend to go to Harding's). For those that it matters, the Master bedroom shares the bathroom with the 2nd bdrm. There is another full bath on lower level across from bdrm 3 which is 2 single beds. Loved the outdoor shower. Used the grill. downstairs is a second common area if you have kids or are working. Highly recommend.

Spacious home perfect for families

We LOVED our stay!!! This home was clean with a sliding door that opened to a nice back deck that includes a grill and umbrella table with 6 chairs. There is a spacious side yard to play lawn games that is partially fenced in and off the road. The outdoor shower was great! We rarely showered indoors!! The home was really spacious. The upstairs bathroom is bigger and has a tub. The downstairs was a bit smaller with a shower only. Both bathrooms were immaculate and had plenty of storage and counter space. The kitchen/dining area is nice and open with various places to sit. It was myself, my husband, 2 teens, and 2 other adults and we never felt cramped. The downstairs living room has a sofa bed (only good for one or two kids/teens) but served as a nice 4th bedroom. We only used the upstairs living room and the couches were a tad uncomfortable. We used the foot stools located in the bedrooms and that helped! The washer and dryer were nice and super convenient. The owner provides detergent. There are a few beach chairs on property but we chose to use our own. They looked brand new. The A/C works awesome on both floors. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms had spacious closets and plenty of storage for clothes and other items. The pleasant bay beach is more of a marsh than anything but pretty. The walk there is pretty long and it’s on a busy road that is unsafe to walk to with children. Go to Mayflower beach! But leave by 8:00 to get a spot! I would stay here again 100%!

Comfortable Home Away from Home

Easy rental experience, property managers an easy call or email away; Easy location, 2 min from grocery store, easy ride to beaches; Plenty of space to spread out; Clean (except the grill & a dirty pan, left by previous renter); Comfortable queen beds; twins okay (probably better for children than adults); full open-up couch, even with topper is okay, but not great; Nice outdoor shower (in addition to 1 full & 3/4 bathrooms); Clean laundry room.

Like being at home

Property was clean and well appointed, dishwasher detergent and laundry detergent were supplied, kitchen had plenty of cookware, even coffee filters were available. Quiet neighborhood close to grocery and liquor stores.

Summer Sea Side Theme Home

The house was great, it had all the comforts of home, it had everything from barbecue grill, outside shower to DVD players. The house had a fully loaded kitchen with incredible furniture in every room and a great summer sea side theme.

Cape Cod 2020

The property and house was nice. However, during the entire two week stay there was major construction on the street that started at 7AM and ended at 3PM all days except weekend and July 3. The equipment limited access to driveway and vibrated the house for 2 - 3 hours each day. Several times the rental company was contacted with a promise to return call without a single response. The expectation would be notification of this work as it would have required the home owner to know by the city our county for this level of construction because egress and parking wasn't allowed during our stay. Like purchasing obstructed view seats at a game or concert this should have been given the choice to the consumer versus full billing and a minimum a return on calls. The check in was easy, but we were given the wrong entry code to the house on the paperwork and had to call in during a rainstorm - unfortunate, but simple activity that shouldn't happen.
