"The only thing we didn't like about this hotel was the limited parking at the hotel however saying that the nearby local station (tourist train) is free parking between 6pm and 9am so it wasn't a problem and we paid for an additional couple of hours the following morning at a cost of £2.50. "This is a beautiful gem of a hotel. It was like stepping back in time to the classic era. Staff were great! Both friendly and accommodating. Free car park is a bonus. "

"Booked two double rooms. Night staff only gave me one, and I had to stand firm and show my booking online to get the 2nd room. 2nd room then ended up being a twin. We complained in the morning, and were told that we had to email the owner, and they would then decide what to do with the complaint (bonkers! Can you imagine going into any other retail situation and being told that?!) Day staff did confirm that, quite clearly, there were two double rooms on the booking."
