First off, we never got a card key, no coffee maker in room, while taking a shower pieces of the ceiling fell into the tub, the toilet wasn't bolted solidly to the floor the door frame was split. The bed was decent

Nice stay, comfortable!

I miss having a coffee pot, but other than that, our stay has been very pleasant!! Bed is comfortable and room is large.

The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. We had room to park our U-Haul. There was a view of the mountains from our room on the backside of the hotel. Nice gentleman checked me in.

Pleasantly surprised. Booked last minute on Saturday night and this was the only place available. Room was large, bed was comfortable. Would stay here again.

Driving across states and needing just to sleep and brush your teeth, this place will do for the price. Traveling with our dog we were happy they allowed pets. Rooms are not carpeted a plus. Some sort of illicit activities going on next door was unsettling. Nothing for food within walking distance.

This was a VERY clean, basic 9 hour room! We needed to get south of the storm and not pay the high rates of the other hotels. This one was a great price, the room was VERY clean and looked like it was a recent renovation. It was a bed, a shower and protection from the storm.

Great for our 1 night stay. Got a good sleep in a comfortable bed and clean room. The room needed more furniture but the essentials were there- table, chairs, fridge and microwave. Heater worked great and was quiet. Good value!

The property was extremely basic as suited the price. The check in was the easiest ever without a lot of paperwork or hassle. The room was very simply furnished. It was not the kind of place you would want to hang out for a while. There were several restaurants within a few minutes drive, but none within a reasonable walk. The people we met were pleasant, but the town seems quite mediocre.

The room was nice and big, beds comfortable. My only issues were the room smelled very musty, you could really hear the upstairs neighbor and there were lots of ants in the room.

Not the cleanest bathroom. Never found the ice machine. WiFi NEVER worked. Loved how quiet the area is. Really enjoyed seeing the stars and that everything was walkable.

Accomodations were clean and basic. Repairs or attempted upgrades were obviously DIY. A pet fee was charged, tho' not mentioned on the website. The bathtub did not feel like it was resting on a solid subfloor which was weird. It worked for the location and price.

Very quiet town, arrived around 8 pm and already there was barely any people out and about. Same thing again when I left in the morning around 8 am. Parking was well lit all night, the room was freshly remodeled and clean. Had all I need for a night stay; a comfy bed(very springy), working air conditioner, a good shower, a fridge to cool down my drink, electricity to charge my phone and watch. Being in the desert all these simple things were like an oasis. Found it hard to sleep though since the pillow was not soft enough to what I’m use to and maybe because it was my first time in that town(kept waking up and checking my car). Nevertheless it was a pleasant stay and the most affordable in all of Hawthorne. I was also very relieved to be met with an Asian face too when I arrived for I am an Asian myself and traveling alone so that made me feel not so alone. The town is nestled along a beautiful mountain range and a few miles from a lake. There is a Mc Donald’s a mile or two away and a Safeway. I am most bummed my dashcam recorded over the footage of me driving through as I had not brought my laptop to upload the data. Thank you American Inn for the stay, I shall return one night if life permits it.

Good place to rest up

Good clean room, quiet area, responsive management nothing to complain about. Our south facing room had a nice view of the nearby mountains, ended up staying a second night to avoid a high wind situation around Las Vegas
