1- Onder het bureau op een onmogelijke plek één wandcontactdoos met twee contacten. Eén voor een lamp één voor het koffieapparaat. Als je de stekker voor de koelkast wilde verruilen moest ik op mijn rug in een onmogelijke houdin die wisseltrofee doen. Koelkast zat vol met smeltwater en in een poging om onder het bureau vandaan te komen kantelde de koelkast waarna er een sloot water over de grond spoelde en mijn kleding nat maakte. 2- De toegangsdeur van de douche is voorzien van een hele stevige deurdranger. Het nut ervan is totaal niet duidelijk. Het sluit de douche af zodat het erg benauwd in wordt. Weg met dat ding. 3- De toiletrol hangt een meter boven je hoofd…kom op zeg wat een waanzin. 4- Bij inchecken werd medegedeeld father ontbijt is tot 11:00 uur. Meer niet. Groot was onze verbazing dat het maandag tot 08:30 uur is. Er was niets meer. Geen geld terug voor twee ontbijtjes. Erg teleurstellend. Dit gedeeld met een leidende medewerker/manager, hij zou het noteren. Al met al een teleurstellend lang weekend.

Bastion Heerlen de moeite waard.

Het Bastion Hotel Heerlen is een fijn hotel met aardig en zelfs lief personeel. De bedden zijn prima en de kamers schoon. Soms wat gehorig door dichtslaan de deuren. Het hotel is nogal gedateerd maar dat is voor ons geen probleem. Wij komen er graag.

Goede mogelijkheid parkeren, dichtbijgelegen meubelboulevard en snelweg. Eetgelegenheid in hotel en omgeving. Kamers wat gedateerd, sporen op muur van verwijderde dingen waar niet de verf werd bijgewerkt. Gastvrije medewerkers. Kamer compact maar prima. We zouden er weer verblijven.
