decent budget place

The hot tub advertised did not work. Not a great look for a couple getting away for valentines. appliances are dated and both entrance doors had been kicked in a few times.the master bedroom porch door had been kicked OUT..who knows that story?? .. the place WAS very clean and the folks who checked us in (old school way) were very nice. it's just a lower level budget offering. we would have not stayed there had we known the hot tub didnt work but you get what you pay for I suppose.

This was in a great riverfront location, we were able to walk to most all of Helen. We were there for Oktoberfest and were very happy that we were so close to everything, including river tubing, and the Festhalle. The downside was the lack of usable closet space (only five metal hangers in one closet and another had paint cans in it and was unusable). There were only two pillowcases for all of the pillows, and stains on some of the towels. However, if these things were remedied, it would be a great place to stay.
