"This charming hotel is located in Vrijthof Square, just steps away from cafes and shopping. My room was beautiful and I loved seeing the Saint Jan's church from my window. I adored the girls at the front desk who were so helpful and fun to chat with. I'm not a breakfast person but I did have delicious lattes every morning from the onsite restaurant. If you want to use the spa you pay a onetime fee of 25euros - I opted in and went only once as I was surprised the pool was so cold (Florida gal here!). The spa has a sauna and a steam room as well. I walked to the hotel from the train station when I arrived and did the same when I left. It's probably a little farther than most people would walk, especially with luggage, but it is doable if you are not feeling like using a taxi service."

"We thoroughly enjoyed the central location of the apartment. Although a 20 minute walk from the train station, it was easy to locate. The reception staff was very personable and friendly. She provided early access to the room so we could store luggage and provided worthwhile info on attractions and other locations such as groceries and tourist office. The apartment was spacious with the bedroom and bathroom up a steep flight of stairs. The unit was exceptionally clean. We would definitely book again should we return to Maastricht."
