Another comfortable stay

This was my 3rd stay at Abington Farm. Warm welcome by the owner & resident dog (Penny). The room was clean, spacious & all kitchen equipment was available to use. My dog enjoyed playing with Penny running around together, and she made some visits to my room. I am looking forward to staying again sometime in near future.

One of the best farmstay I have experienced in Australia; the property is nestled on a vast acreage of farmland with a river frontage for the River House; we had an authentic feel of staying on a farm; Diana and Bernie were fantastic hosts who made us feel at home; resident dogs, Penny and Nova, entertained us and even acted as tour guides for us to see the camels and the river in the property; clean and spacious house with adequate kitchen and toilet facilities including a sizeable jetted tub; panoramic scenery and picturesque sunset and sunrise views around the house that can be appreciated from the huge deck; I would love to come back to this homestead with my family again one day!

This was a very lovely little place to stay. It is modest yet cosy and welcoming, and being able to bring our dog with us was a bonus. The surrounds were very peaceful and it was a joy to take a walk next to the neighbouring cows. Thanks for letting us stay. Give Penny a big pat from us.

The River Room was in a peaceful rural setting and was cosy accommodation for a single night for a couple. It would also be suitable for a couple with two children. The comfortable couch and spacious room was welcome.

Abington is magnificent! If you’re looking for a country stay where you, the kids and your dog are SO welcome, this is the place. The River House is absolutely lovely, Bernie the host is an actual gem and I cannot rate this place highly enough. Also their dog Penny, is the sweetest Kelpie girl ever. Thank you Abington farm!

Recommended for dog owrners

I had a great experience staying at Abington Farm with my small dog. It was 100% contactless check in & out, all information we need will be sent out prior to the stay. The room was nice & clean, all amenities are in the room. Also I think this is perfect idea that DIY breakfast & all ingredients are ready to use in the fridge. My 3yo Mini Foxie enjoyed running around outside & chasing with the resident dog (Peggy) before check out. It is great for your retreat from city life or if you are travelling around the neighbourhood. I will definitely come back again. Thank you for the stay.
