Lake Hickory is a hidden gem in North Carolina. Only 45 minutes from Blowing Rock and an hour from Charlotte and Asheville. Less than a 10 minute drive to downtown Hickory where you’ll find great food and cool shops. This beautiful property on lake Hickory is perfect for families and entertaining. Down by the private pool you will find a charcoal grill, floats, plenty of seating, and a diving board for hours of entertainment! The property has lake access but water is shallow. Access the lake by kayaks and stand up paddle boards (boats are not able to access dock). When the water is low kayaks need to be walked out to deeper water. The property includes kayaks for adults and children. The lake depth fluctuates about 2 feet. There is a small creek that runs under the dock that is fun for kids to explore. Kids can play in the shallow water and catch minnows in the creek. The house is on a dead end road so there is very little traffic.
Downstairs you will find a fireplace with an oak poker table and space to play games. The house has three full bathrooms with showers. There are three bedrooms and a futon in the basement.
