Beautiful cabin close to downtown Boone

This beautifully wood paneled cabin is nestled in the heart of the blue ridge mountains. It is located close to town and is the perfect retreat for couples or families seeking escape from hot summer days, or simply want to relax! Walking in you will be greeted by beautiful vaulted ceilings and tons of natural light! The living room is equipped with a beautiful fireplace, and a HD TV. In the kitchen you will find top of the line stainless steel appliances perfect for cooking! Both bedrooms have on suite bathrooms, tvs with Roku/Firestick for streaming and plenty of storage. With two queen beds 4 can sleep comfortably. Reasonably priced and tailored to vacationers' desires, Mountain Mystique is the perfect retreat cabin for you!

*Please note: Roxanna St is a gravel mountain road. There is a steep area near the top. During inclement weather a 4 wheel drive and/or chains may be needed. No refunds due to weather conditions. If you don't feel comfortable driving up, you can park at the bottom and walk up to the cabin (approximately 1/4 mile)

*NO pets; only officially trained service animals are allowed.

*There is one security camera located by the main entrance, allowing view of the driveway and entry door. There are no cameras located inside the house.

*There is a gun range off Castleford Rd

It was a wonderful accomadatiin. A little challenging mountain roads but to be expected in the end, not far from town. Was able to go rafting and tubing. Saw deer right on the wooded property and enjoyed the visiting hummingbirds . A great place for our get awsy

It was a comfortable stay with how isolated it was from everyday distraction but still close enough to Boone where if I needed something it was not an inconvenience and plenty of things to do in the area if you are a nature lover.

We had a wonderful stay in Boone at this cabin. Road was rough but manageable. Would recommend an AWD or 4WD vehicle if you’re staying here.

Appalachian State visit

I was in town with my daughter for her orientation for Appalachian State. She will be attending there in the Fall. We are from Illinois. The cabin was amazing. Very clean and very well furnished. Beds were also comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again. Thank you very much

Wonderful stay!

The cabin was lovely and quite spacious with great amenities. Comfortable beds and nice, well-stocked kitchen. Comfy living room furniture with a nice wood stove insert in the fireplace and plenty of firewood. Convenient location that is close to main roads but in a scenic, woodsy location. Nice washer and dryer and good Wi-Fi and tv reception. The owner, Fay, was easy to reach by phone when I had a question about the tv. We plan to book again next fall!

Cabin

We didn’t get to stay because we couldn’t get up to the cabin. Weather was terrible but we didn’t even get all of our money back. I booked through Vrbo and the host confirmed the stay. I really don’t agree with not giving back the money for the cleaning fee and the host fee. They didn’t host us or have to clean the cabin. This really needs to be reconsidered and give our money back.

Wonderful Home away from Home

This house was amazing in so many different ways! We saw so much wildlife and enjoyed the view! We really appreciated the consideration the host took for guests! Not only did they have a beautiful sitting area to enjoy to the scenery but they also have games, movies and all the necessities you could think of! We will definitely be returning to this lovely home away from home!

Christmas Getaway

We spent a couple days here before Christmas with our boys and absolutely loved it! The house is so cozy and wonderfully decorated for Christmas. The kitchen is well stocked. Far enough out of town to feel like you’re secluded but close enough to enjoy all the things Blowing Rock & Boone have to offer. We were sad to leave!
