Horrible
First off, the pictures look like a nice trailer in the woods just off the lake with a huge driveway. It was actually a trailer park with trailers so close you could barely say it had a yard. It was actually one of the cleaner looking trailers, I’ll give it that. When we arrived, a car was in the driveway and all doors were locked. A screen door was locked on the door with the code lock, so i couldn’t get to it to put the code in to go inside. I knocked on all the doors for ab 5-10 minutes with no answer. When i tries to contact the owner, i was sent to the message tab for Evolve. I sent a message telling them what was going on, when a creepy man and a woman came to the door looking like they had just woken up (it was 4:15 pm). Turned out to be a plumbers assistant that had helped with some work a few days before and had his girl over with him. They said they didn’t know anyone had been coming that day and admitted they had been asleep in the master bedroom. They told us to give them an hour and they’d be out of there. There was no way the house would be clean, the sheets would be cleaned, etc. in an hour! I tried to contact the owner again and was again sent to a message with Evolve and still received no response. My husband told them we were leaving to find another place. By 9 pm the owner finally contacted me. She apologized and told me we didn’t have to leave bc the house was ready for us but understood why we left. I told her the house wasn’t ready for us bc someone was SLEEPING there when we arrived at our check-in time (4 pm). She promised a full refund and to accommodate us any time we came back to the area. I was satisfied with that. However, Evolve refuses to refund us bc we don’t sufficient evidence that someone was sleeping there when we arrived. We will NEVER book a property that is associated with Evolve again!!
