What our guests have to say:
They thought of every little detail for a large family sharing a large house. Two refrigerators, ice machine, 2 dishwashers, sinks, 2 laundry rooms and stocked abundantly well. Nice extra touches- 18+ beach towels, laundry machines filled with detergent, foil and saran wrap, plenty of ice, etc. The house is gorgeous- amazing views, beautiful pool, comfortable beds, nice linens. Super responsive staff. We will rent this house again. It was perfect!

8 Iron Clad is an oceanfront luxury home designed to entertain, relax, and unwind right on the sand in Palmetto Dunes Resort! This beautifully and luxuriously designed home will provide a family vacation to remember!
The high ceilings and 40 feet span of glass draw in the sunlight and the views of the Atlantic Ocean. The wonderful open floor plan gives you the feeling of freedom and relaxation bringing the outdoors in.
The kitchen is filled with designer appliances including a 48 inch AGA induction range with 5 burners, All-Clad cookware, two full-size food prep sinks, 2 dishwashers, and a back kitchen pantry where your favorite coffee makers await. The kitchen, bar and kitchenette all are equipped with instant hot and filtered water.
The 1st floor living area includes incredibly comfortable seating, a dining table for 8, 5 bar stools along the 12ft island as well as a corner table for 6. There is also a bar with wine and beverage refrigeration and nugget ice maker all overlooking the incredible view. Just off the kitchen is the first of two laundry rooms with a shower.
The 10' quadruple sliding glass doors lead to the covered patio that has great seating, fans to keep you cool, a pool bath, a beverage refrigerator and a Weber Genesis 4 burner gas grill for burger night!
The saltwater pool ranges from approximately 3' to 5' in depth, perfect for the basketball hoop. There is also a large sunning/toddler shallow water shelf. This is an incredible pool and comes with an 8-person hot tub.
Steps away is the wide-open Hilton Head Island beach which is accessed via a boardwalk just beside the home - nothing could be easier or finer!
On the main floor is an Oceanfront Primary King Suite with an opulent bathroom. From the bidet to the steam shower to the body sprays, nothing is overlooked to offer you a spa-like experience. Bask in the luxurious steam shower or kick back and take a relaxing bath in the oversized tub. This bedroom also has a 75" Smart TV as well as lots of drawers for clothes and a large closet.
Take a few steps up to the perfect vacation area for the kids. This large room includes a large 75" TV flat screen and a regulation size basketball hoop for nerf basketballs. Besides comfortable seating there are 2 bunk beds, each having a twin top bunk over a full bed and trundles underneath. An ensuite bath has a walk-in shower and double sinks and there is a walk-in closet as well.
The open 2nd floor living area has even more breathtaking ocean views through the wall of glass sliders that open to an expansive deck. Designed with glass panels to shield the ocean breeze but bring in the 180-degree views of the Atlantic, this is an incredible spot to watch the sunrise with a coffee or enjoy the sunset with a cocktail. This will be the centerpiece of your stay and the best place to find the constellations without the lights of a city.
In the upstairs living area, family ping pong tournaments bring the whole family together. There's also a kitchenette with a refrigerator-freezer, microwave, sink and dishwasher. It has a 75” flat screen smart TV, table and chairs, and large sectional seating. Puzzles, games, and books are there to enjoy as well.
Two upstairs bedrooms are additional Oceanfront King Primary suites on either side of the living area, each with their own stunning oceanfront views, access to the balcony, and amazing bathrooms with bidets, soaking tubs, and zero entry showers. Showers are equipped with body sprays and handhelds. The last 2 bedrooms each have ensuite bathrooms, one with 2 Queens and one with a King. Whether you bring your multigenerational family or your best friends, this home has something for everyone.

Please be advised that from December 2025 through March 15, 2026, a beach renourishment project will be underway on the island. While this project will only impact small sections of the beach at any given time, we want to ensure you're aware of its occurrence. The town anticipates minimal disruption to individual properties during this period. On the bright side, this process can be fascinating to observe and will result in stunningly restored beaches once completed.
