Situated just north of South Beach, this home puts you just a short distance from the South Beach Racquet Club, the Salty Dog Ice Cream Company, and the warm waters of the Atlantic Ocean! With a prime waterfront location, you’ll be able to stroll down to the beach anytime you want, and enjoy fishing, swimming, snorkeling, and boating at your leisure.

This home’s main attraction is unquestionably its spectacular deck, which faces west and allows you to enjoy an incredible sunset as you relax with a glass of wine. Inside, you’ll find a newly renovated kitchen with modern appliances, cookware, and dishware, along with a comfortably furnished living room with cable, free WiFi - and of course, breathtaking views of the water.

All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
Please note E-bikes are not allowed.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Picture Window view was fantastic

Perfect beach front location. This location was in a water way off of the main ocean, so not as much foot traffic. The window in the dining area looks like a large picture frame. When you look out towards the beach, it presented a new beautiful picture at different parts of the day. The home itself is spacious and most anything you need to make you fill at home was provided.

Wonderful location and great for our stay!!

My sisters and I stayed in this wonderful beach duplex while visiting our parents on HHI. The views and location and neighborhood couldn’t have been better! The management company, Vacasa, was easy to get in touch with and super responsive when things popped up! And we rented awesome beach cruisers (delivered and picked up!) through Island Life Bike Rentals, and they were also wonderful! The vrbo had comfy beds and furnature and lots of plates and coffee mugs, so dining in was easy and we enjoyed the grill, the dining table, and the views! (Would love to recommend adding/bringing your own bar wear, wine key, and wine/cocktail glasses, if you enjoy libations) Beach homes always have a bit more wear and tear, but the home was clean and we felt welcomed and safe and cozy during our stay! The deck and front porch are wonderful also! I have recommended the property to a friend already!

Dolphin Oasis

Not only is this home at the very end of the inlet but the surprise we had with the pod of Dolphins who kept us occupied the whole weekend was the best. The house was spacious and comfortable. Vacasa was super helpful and accommodating as we were traveling with a small enclosed trailer that when on booking there was nothing stated through VRBO that led me to think it would not be allowed however as soon as payment was made a third party email as received by Vacasa with all these rules and trailers were one of them. I went into freak out mode but Vacasa check in office assured us we were welcome to park it at the property office. The house was clean and provided some many of the essentials I didn’t have to buy anything extra other then the groceries we needed.

Awesome Quiet Location with Beautiful View from patio and just steps to the beach!

The property was in a great quiet location at the end of the island. Within .5 miles walking distance to the Salty Dog. Restaurant was very good and there is an ice cream store also. I would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again if I return to Hilton Head!!

Perfect HHI location

Perfect location for a young family, as we could walk to the pool and beach, and we could watch the sunset over the Sound from our porch once the kids went down. We loved being close to the Salty Dog for easy dinners!

Lovely community

Arrived early and ask for early check in. Was told it was possible but never got notified. Showed up at check in time and all was ready. Looked as though it had been for a while. True the place could use a refresh but no problems. The community was delightful. Free hot chocolate and s’mores on the weekend plus Santa!

Comfortable home with great location. Enjoyed watching the dolphins and walking along the beach. Very peaceful. While inside furnishings were nice and very clean, the deck and exterior could use some love. Overall, wonderful stay.

Dated but very clean a good location

Cute little beach house. A fisherman’s and naturalist dream. We caught sharks, rays, redfish, crabs. Watched dolphins and sea birds all day. Even saw a manatee off end of rocks. Just important to know this is not a swimming kind of beach. Pool is a nice reprieve.

Perfect getaway

This house is perfect for sunsets and dolphin spotting! We also saw a large turtle making her way back to sea after laying her nest! The house had all the needed amenities and the community of Land’s End is ideally located.

Beautiful setting, needs some upgrades

Cute beach house in need of some minor upgrades throughout. Otherwise, it’s a great location for peace and relaxation, better for couples or families with younger children. Would not recommend for teens as it's literally at 'lands end' and far from activities. The deck is nice and expansive but it is close to other decks so sometimes lacking privacy. That said, my husband and I enjoyed our stay and the beautiful sunsets! Only wish we could have taken advantage of the screened-in porch on rainy days. Unfortunately, it was filled up with sandy, rusty and broken beach gear. Also bring your own beach towels!

Perfect Spot

Perfect "get out of the cold" spot. Woke up every morning to a beautuful view of Calibougie Sound watching the dolphins! Got to be the first to use the beautiful new deck. The property manager was extremely responsive with a minor issue of a loose plug in the 2nd floor Master bedroom, it was fixed within hours of my text. Except for needing a little cosmetic work, the property was perfect for our month out of the cold. We will definitely return next year for longer!

The view and privacy alone is with the price

My family and I stayed here a week. The location of the unit is on the very end of the island so it’s a bit further from the major attractions, but having what felt like our own private beach and beautiful views was absolutely worth it. The unit itself is nice. It’s not dirty like other reviews say but it definitely has had its fair share of traffic and could use a bit of love, but overall we ate and slept inside, spending the rest out on the screened in porch, the deck or on the beach. The kitchen is well equipped and love being able to watch the dolphins while prepping and eating at the table. I will say this unit is great for families in that I didn’t worry about my three year old grandson ruining any nice artwork pieces like some of the other properties we saw. Having three bedrooms was nice for privacy and rotating naptimes. It was a major added plus that there were games, beach toys and even a big beach tent to shade us from the sun available for us to use. The only true negative in our minds was the “rules” of the home. Posted on the frig are rules of the home or the neighborhood. Most were reasonable, but number one was something to the affect of no yelling or talking loudly, whisper if you must. We knew when we rented this unit, it was a duplex and an unwritten rule is to watch your noise level out of respect of your neighbors, but having this written on paper as the first rule of the home did kind kind of put a damper on things. No cheering during Monday night football game and reminding the grandkids to use their inside voices even when we were outside felt like a constant cloud.

Perfect location but needs some TLC

Overall, the location is unbeatable. Easy check-in through Vacasa. However, this property is a bit rough around the edges: dirty walls, peeling paint, taped on microwave handle, stains on some furniture, uneven floors etc. Also, make sure to bring your own paper towels, TP, dishwasher / laundry detergent & trash bags. We didn’t have enough of any to last the week.

Beautiful home and view

We had a great time, highly recommend Land’s End neighborhood. The bay is calmer on this side which was less scary than the ocean side for our 18 month old. Walking/biking distance to the Salty Dog, and the pool was never crowded. The home is gorgeous, we definitely plan to come back and stay for a full week next time. Only hiccups were with the WiFi password being incorrect the first night (property manager had to get it from the owner the next day) and the ice maker was struggling (it made about 3 cubes per day lol).

Lands End Gem!

Our family of 5 stayed here this past summer ‘19 and enjoyed every min of it. Place was kept very clean and the location is second to none. Look forward to our next visit in the summer ‘20.
