All staff were friendly, professional and helpful. The full English Breakfast was good, not too greasy, decent sausages. Directly opposite Hindhead Common and Devils Punchbowl, it’s a great location and for the money it did the job. It was clean, decent sized room. Only criticism was that the room was hot, it was 25 degrees and unfortunately they didn’t have any fans. Good value for money.

The hotel is going through a transitional period. Old vs New, I'd say. Some parts of the hotel are tired and would benefit from a deep clean while in the central areas the hotel has modernised and freshened up. The beds, linen all main facilities were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and service good.

The hotel was ideal for us as only 30 minutes or so to Goodwood. Good value accommodation. Very helpful staff and the Restaurant food was first rate. Also worth a mention was the Bar where the staff and clientele were so welcoming it reminded us of the bar in 'Cheers'!

The receptionist who welcomed me was incredible! He was extremely polite, kind, and professional. I wish him all the best. Unfortunately, I didn’t ask his name, but he was the one working a bit later in the evening. He was genuinely amazing and deserves all the best. Thank you for making me feel so welcome!

This place was aweful in every department with the exception of the bed which was comfy and Rob the server who was an awesome human being polite helpful service with a smile and very respectful This place should be torn down simple put The carpet was so stained I thought I had brought dirt inside on my shoes the lamps appeared to have never been cleaned bathroom is so dated it’s it is unbelievable entire place and so so called amenities total garbage I stayed in room 314 the design is so terrible I hit my head several times whilst getting out of bed

I was nervous, booking a room which was so inexpensive. But DELIGHTED with the hotel. Yes, there were reasons the price was low, but FOR ME, it was an *excellent* hotel. Enormous room by modern standards. All fixtures and fitting working 100%. Very friendly, helpful, professional staff. Lovely towels, bed linen. Immaculately clean, new, fresh. Delightful location. Stunning NT woodlands and "Devils Punchbowl" only 500' from the hotel. WONDERFUL play area for kids... all manner of things to climb over, under and above. Why will some turn up their noses? And how can the cost be so low? The owners have not gone mad with completely remodeling things endlessly. There is a lack of chrome and plastic, Some carpets are a bit elderly. But it's not all old... hot water arrives in the tap almost immediately. You control the temperature in your room. (Well, if it needs heat. No air conditioning, but surrounded by woodland, I would imagine it rarely gets terribley hot.) And things have not been "optimised" to with a mm of theirl lives. My bedroom even had a CLOSET where the extra pillows and duvet lived. I didn't have a meal there, because that didn't fit my travel plans, but they do have a restaurant. Breakfast is available, and I imagine it would be good.

The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was large, cool, and the beds were very comfortable. There was a bath, but no plug! They were working on the WiFi so we were not able to connect to it in our room. The TV signal was erratic. We booked a buffet breakfast but all that was actually available were variations on a cooked breakfast, or Toast & Jam. But the cooked breakfast was good and the food we had for our evening meals was superb. The hotel is located right next to the Devil’s Punchbowl and we enjoyed walking around this area in the evening. No problems with traffic noise.

The Hotel is very dated, but acceptable due to the price. The area rates are quite expensive. It's very handy for me because i visit family close by. The Hotel has a well stocked bar and dining area with a good menu selection. This is the 2nd time i have stopped here and i would stop again. It has ample parking and is next door to the beautiful Devils Punch Bowl ideal for walkers.
