"We only stayed here for one night while in Kyoto but there were a few issues for us - you can’t control the air-conditioning - the staff has it locked - my husband messed with it for 30 minutes until we saw the note in the room - it was pretty warm in the room, so that was frustrating - it also was a bit loud because the hotel is in a busy area. However, the rest of the hotel was great. Staff was very nice and they held our extra luggage before and after checkout. Wouldn’t recommend for a long-term stay."

"Centrally located and within easy walking distance of some of Kyoto’s most popular spots, including Nishiki Market and Pontocho Street, plus plenty of restaurants and bars. We stayed for four nights and had a great time. It’s also just a few minutes from the subway, which made it easy to get around the city and visit all of the temples."

"This hotel was fantastic! I would stay here again. The location is within walking distance of so many shopping, eating and tourist areas. The hotel staff was helpful at many times and was professional and eager to assist. We also had lunch there and breakfast and were extremely pleased."
