"We live just up the road off 81 but went down to Roanoke for the night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The hotel just opened and was impressive from the start! I received a message welcoming us and letting us know where the entrance was and giving instructions for the parking garage which is conveniently located just down the street. The check in was quick and simple and were welcomed by a friendly smile. The room was clean and the amenities such as robes, retro style refrigerator and even blue tooth speaker. The soaps and shampoos and lotions from Molton Brown were tremendous. When we checked out the next morning we were provided with great coffee and wonderful, fresh muffins and pastries. It was also mentioned to us that the parking was good for the entire day if we wanted to explore downtown. When I received the receipt by email Candace thanked us for choosing Promissory to celebrate with it anniversary which I thought was so kind. We look forward to experiencing the restaurant that will be opening soon. It was a 5-Star experience and plan to return soon! Thank you for a wonderful experience!"
