Great, quirky, old, property, with genuine ancient features like huge blocks of stone in the walls. Great breakfast, with options to add if needed, and an excellent restaurant menu in the evenings - we ate there twice during our short stay. Lovely helpful, friendly staff throughout the property, from check-in, cleaning, bar and restaurant. Highly recommended.

I'm not one to write reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised by just how much I liked staying here. All your standard hotel amenities were there, no complaints on that front, and several bonus amenities (extra comfortable bathroom heat lamps) were the cherry on top. The free breakfast is genuinely delicious; by far and beyond the best I've had at a hotel. It's not some mediocre lukewarm continental breakfast, you get great coffee and delicious food made to order every morning. Literally the best eggs Benedict I have ever had. My partner and I were a little disappointed that the advertised "balcony" did not actually exist as a stand-able platform outside, but the quality of everything else made the stay excellent overall. Considering the reasonable price (relative to other hotels) we paid, I'm more than satisfied with our stay.

Everything was perfect, the bar area and the Guinness on tap sensational, good sports options on. Our room was perfect and clean. King studio waterfront. The dinner and wine was fantastic with great service from all the staff. Breakfast amazing. Memorable place to stay and will be back. Thanks to all at customs house.

Enjoyed the breakfast, which was included with the hotel price. This helps to offset the dysfunctionality involved in accessing the room through a staggered stairwell system. However, the location of the hotel on the bayfront is extremely convenient to tours on the water.

Beautiful building integrating the old and the new. The quad room was spacious and accommodated myself and 3 kids with our own beds which is a bonus!! Great location and the breakfast was a real treat to wake up to and very tasty!! There is no toaster, sink or microwave in the room so be mindful when planning ahead. Would definitely be back to stay again. Beds are comfy and not much noise even in the CBD.
