The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable but the bathroom was quite small. The staff was very helpful, she even taught us how to take pictures of the auroras. The breakfast buffet was very good.

The property has a great view of the glacier across the street. The room is minimally equipped - 2 beds, 2 night tables, a closet and 2 plastic chairs. The bathroom has a rain shower with good water pressure but no shelves or hooks. There was a decent selection of food for breakfast. Dinner was simple e.g. Caesar salad used dressing from supermarket. Suggest having dinner in Hofn.

Nice breakfast buffet. Make sure to visit a quiet scenic spot about 7 minutes away called Eskey, which offers excellent views of the mountains, glaciers, and the delta.

This was a great stopover on the second day of our trip around the Ring Road. It is a great driving distance for our itinerary and close to many attractions. The food was wonderful and the staff was very warm and welcoming. Breakfast was the perfect way to start our 3rd day of exploring.

It was an excellent stay and the staff was very friendly. We checked in just before 9pm and the restaurant has closed their kitchen but receptionist graciously offered to prepare lunch boxes for us. We appreciate this very much. Thank you for your friendly hospitality.

The guesthouse has 2 buildings, a new building and and old building that they attempted to renovate. The pictures on the booking sites however, only show the new building and rooms. The staff were all very nice but unable to solve the many issues we had during our stay. Unknowingly, we were assigned 2 rooms in the old building. First things: no amenities to dry clothing in the old rooms and the shower curtain rod is too weak to hold any clothing, main heat did not work, wifi is very slow…slower than cellular data, plug in heaters provided but they kept blowing the circuit breakers. Staff were unable to assist with the heat or the continued power issues. The lights in the bathroom are motion controlled but the motion control did not work well in either room. The breakfast was adequate but no hot food.
