"Everything was exactly as represented in the listing. There are Mountain View’s from the living room, a second floor sitting room with a picture window, and from the porch. There were restaurants close by and easy access to downtown Asheville. The duplex was in a quiet area with very little road noise. Lindsay was very helpful with suggestions and recommendations. Even though it is pet friendly, there were no signs that animals had been in the apartment. It was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. We slept soundly every night. I recommend this rental for a quiet visit to Asheville and surrounding areas."

"This was one of the most incredible places my husband and I have ever stayed / visited! The property is absolutely gorgeous, exactly as pictured, and has everything you could possibly need for a perfect getaway. The views are breathtaking, and the host was beyond amazing…so welcoming, helpful, and wonderful!One important tip: PLEASE listen to the host when she says you need AWD to get up the driveway! If you don’t have the right vehicle, you can park in the guest spot at the bottom of the mountain and hike up…but be prepared, because it’s a STEEP climb! We had a blast, and it definitely added to the adventure, but it’s something you’ll want to plan for ahead of time.We truly cannot say enough good things about this place. Between the incredible views, beautiful property, and amazing host, it was an unforgettable experience. We’re so grateful we got to stay here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, unique getaway!Thank you for such an amazing stay! We loved every minute of it! "

"Description of property needs to be VERY CLEAR on how steep and winding and washed out the driveway was. From the turnoff I would guess that it is 3/4 to a mile to the house on a VERY NARROW one way road- if you were to meet someone on the road somebody would have to back down-there is literally no where to pass. The road is also WASHED OUT for about 30 yards- you must go VERY SLOW or will tear something up on your car. If there was any type of weather, I'm not sure you would be able to get up the driveway in a small car. In addition, it is very hard to get out of the driveway because there is no where to turn around. That was defineilty not communicated before I booked. The house is old but well maintained and the view from the master room is beautiful. The shower in the master is also amazing. We enjoyed our stay."

"The host did a wonderful job checking in with us throughout our stay. They were gracious enough to allow us an early check in as well. They provided QR code instructional videos for how to work the amenities they offered, which I thought was a very nice touch. There were more than an ample of amount of extra towels provided for our large group, and the house and property were all very clean upon arrival. I would recommend this rental to all types of large groups, including groups for family gatherings, friend events, or bridal party weekend festivities."

"We had a lovely stay! The cabin was cozy, comfortable, and exceptionally clean, with thoughtful extras like shampoo, coffee, and laundry detergent. The modern kitchen was well stocked, and the lower level was essentially a full apartment—perfect for traveling with another couple.We especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evening, listening to crickets and taking in the peaceful mountain setting.A note for future guests: The final half-mile is a very steep, narrow, single-lane mountain road with sharp switchbacks and steep drop-offs, with few places to pull over for oncoming vehicles. If you’re uncomfortable driving mountain roads or afraid of heights, consider this before booking. We made it just fine, but it’s not for the faint of heart!Rodney was an exceptional host with excellent communication. He provided detailed information before our arrival and was readily available for questions and local recommendations.Despite the adventurous drive, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!"
