"I'll write this here, because when I try to send direct feedback on the survey the property sent, the capta security doesn't work and never allows it to submit: To the hotel: You already know this based on many reviewers' comments on here over the years, but the complete lack of soundproofing from the squeaking exposed floorboards from above (my room's ceiling) and hearing neighbors speaking between the walls desperately needs to be fixed. Aesthetically the hotel is beautiful. Functionally, it's close to unusable as a hotel for guests on Floors 2-4. If someone is staying in the room above you, forget about it, your stay is constant squeaking. Fortunately, our front desk person empathized and was able to move us from the 3rd floor to a 4th floor Accessible room on a sold out night in order to escape the constant ceiling floor creaking above us. Without that, I would have likely required a refund and found another hotel. Also, surprised how well we could hear our neighboring room's conversation. They weren't talking loud, but we could hear them no problems. You already know all this. Looking at reviews after the fact, you've been told many many times about the unacceptable sound proofing for this class of hotel. In the end: Beautiful hotel. Functionally poor. "

"We had an excellent stay at this clean, well furnished house that is centrally located in the city of Lancaster. For starters, the rent for the house is an excellent value for a 5-bedroom house. As noted previously, the house was very clean and well furnished, and the check-in and check-out process was easy and straightforward. There is plenty of parking in the lot that is immediately behind the house. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who is planning a trip to Lancaster,The only two downsides of the property was that the hanging rod in the closet in the master bedroom was unattached to the wall, which precluded hanging clothes on it, and that most of the drawers in the dresser in the master bedroom were full with bed linens. That said, these two "complaints" are really nit picks and are easily fixable. They are not enough to distract from the overall "5" rating that I gave this property."

"Our stay was fine, the location was amazing & the parking spot in back was SO convenient. The hosts also allowed us an early check in which was a total life saver as we were traveling with a toddler. However we did not believe this was a 9.8 star stay. It seems like the cleaning crew went on vacation and never came back. Right off the rip we noticed there was no hand soap in any of the bathrooms or in the kitchen. There was a significant amount of dust/debris on the decor, trim, window sills. There was hair on the downstairs toilet, leftover used soaps in the 2nd floor shower and hair in the second floor shower. The third floor bathroom caulk/grout lines were moldy/mildewy. The mattresses in the double room on the second floor were miserably worn and loud/creaky. Our feet and socks were brown from walking around the house. The patio furniture seemed mildewy so we weren’t able to sit out there. The towels had what looked like makeup stains on them. And there were a slew of “landlord” quick fixes throughout the home including, several floor boards on the second floor that seemed to be hanging on by a thread. If you stepped on them you would feel the whole board give way under your foot. Another being the door on the second floor shower must’ve broke and it was replaced with a white shower curtain that was discolored and icky along the bottom. We enjoyed having a full kitchen & house wasn’t dirty enough for us to go through the hassle of leaving. But we won’t stay here again."
