"It served its purpose for an overnight trip. It was right on the bay and the view was beautiful. Otherwise, the hotel could use some sprucing up and they’d be better served getting rid of the carpet in the rooms. Definitely an old hotel but close proximity to everything."

"We absolutely loved this house! From the moment we arrived, everything was easy and comfortable. The home had everything we needed, and the host was amazing—friendly, helpful, and wonderful with communication.And that view! The entire house overlooks the Alsea Bay Bridge and the bay, but sitting in the hot tub enjoying that incredible view was definitely one of our favorite parts. The neighborhood is very private, peaceful, and quiet—the perfect place to slow down, relax, and enjoy the coast.Our mornings were especially beautiful. We watched people crabbing on the bay, enjoyed all the beautiful birds, and even had a seal show up to say hello! 玲 It’s the kind of place where you can sit with your coffee and happily do absolutely nothing except watch the bay come to life.There are just a couple of things that could use some attention. The ants were unfortunately pretty persistent and difficult to deal with, and some of the outdoor seating is showing its age and could use replacing. Neither takes away from how much we enjoyed the home, but addressing those things would make an already wonderful place even better.Thank you for sharing such a beautiful and relaxing home with us. We left with wonderful memories and would absolutely love to come back someday—hopefully with the seal still there to welcome us! "
Magical waterfront!

"This home is so pretty. It actually looks like the pictures. It's the cleanest vacation rental we've ever stayed in. You can tell they care and it makes the extra cost worth it. The host quickly responded when we had trouble connecting to wifi and immediately checked back to make sure it was working. The kitchen has everything you need. There are so many fun games we took advantage of in the evenings with kids. The view from the kitchen, living room, bedrooms is incredible. It's very close to the beach and is a short walk through dunes and beach grass but there's also sand and small dunes right outside the back door that kids can play in when not right on the beach. The beds were so comfy. It's also the first vacation rental that's had a nice gas BBQ which we really appreciated. A perfect family beach getaway!"

"We chose this property because it is wheelchair friendly. As a person with ALS I am fully dependent on a wheelchair. We have gotten used to renting houses and hotel rooms that are supposed to be wheelchair friendly only to find they are not or only marginally. In this house we found nice wide doors, room to manover around furniture. There are bars in the bathroom and a huge roll in shower. The threshold for the front door is a little high but we carry a portable 1 inch threshold wedge with us that smoothed it nicely. The biggest is the bed height. It was difficult to get into and out of. Overall the house was a little dated. There was some staining on the comforter and plenty of sand in the nooks and crannies."
