  • Ground Floor

    Living Area
    The Hayloft boasts a bright and welcoming open-plan space with a lounge, kitchen, and dining area, thoughtfully designed with comfort in mind. A deep leather sofa with a generous chaise invites you to stretch out and unwind in front of the smart TV and log burner, set in a hearth crafted from the original setts of the building.
    The kitchen is fully equipped with an induction hob, oven, fridge with freezer compartment, and dishwasher. A reclaimed timber dining table and two comfortable leather chairs make mealtimes a pleasure, whether you're preparing a feast or enjoying a quiet breakfast.

    Bathroom
    The bathroom is a real highlight. Through the archway, oak stairs with a glass balustrade lead to the first-floor mezzanine and a sliding door opening to a luxurious bathroom. Featuring a full walk-in shower, a freestanding copper bath, and a distinctive rock sink set atop a repurposed barrel. A truly indulgent space for a long, relaxing soak.

    First Floor

    Bedroom
    Climb the oak staircase, under a striking spider chandelier, and cross a glass-balustrade bridge to the mezzanine sleeping area. Here, a welcoming double bed with bedside lighting creates a peaceful spot to rest after a day exploring Anglesey.

    Outside

    Patio doors lead out to a private, enclosed garden with a bistro dining set and your own hot tub - ideal for enjoying warm evenings or soaking under the stars. There is one designated parking space for this cottage.

    The Local Area

    The Hayloft is part of Plas Llechylched, a beautifully restored rural site in Bryngwran. It's just a 10-minute drive to Rhosneigr, known for its beaches, watersports, cafés and laid-back vibe. From here, it's easy to explore Anglesey's coast, enjoy country walks, or visit local spots like the market town of Llangefni, the dramatic cliffs at South Stack, or Newborough Forest and Beach. A lovely beach.

Christmas in Anglesey

A lovely cottage in a rural location that feels like home from home . Log fire, rustic feel , comfortable with splash of a hot tub , all you need for a long weekend.

Beautiful cottage, clean, quiet and dog friendly

We have stayed at the Hayloft before, and once again it was perfect. For our dogs, a secure outside area where the hot tub is. Also a secure dog field for a bigger run. We were a group of 13, 6 dogs in 3 cottages. It was perfect for a family get together. The only (tiny) negative is lack of walks from the cottages. However, we drive so went all around the island for our hiking fix. Thank you for a wonderful stay x

Well situated property which makes it easy to visit any part of Anglesey

Spacious comfortable property; well situated close to North Wales expressway making access to all parts of Anglesey easy by car. Our dog & us definitely appreciated the gift bags left, the dog wasn’t a fan on the underfloor heating as he’s a floof monster. The kitchen had all the basics covered, would recommend getting a set of easily replaceable matching crockery & glassware (Tescos basic white crockery & Paris goblet wine glasses). I know I’m being picky but would be aesthetically pleasing. All in all, would recommend & would definitely rebook on another visit to this lovely part of the world.

Beautiful property but small things need updating

The cottage is very pretty and has a lovely hot tub and enclosed garden. However it is very difficult to cook in the property - there is only one very small saucepan and a frying pain that doesnt work on an induction hob. There is only 1 wine glass and 1 champagne flute so we couldnt both have a glass of wine. There is no wardrobe or rail to hang clothes upstairs and no mirrors upstairs or near plugs in order to get ready. If these things could just be updated it would have made the stay significantly less frustrating at times. The actual property is excellent and with small improvements the stay would be lovely.

Cosy little cottage in a beautiful location, perfect for a short stay to recharge the batteries

The cottage is very cosy with a quirky layout and many beautiful original features. It’s also very comfortable with nice sofas and a very comfortable bed. Nice welcome gift upon arrival too for us and our doggy. A few snags - there is no hanging space for clothes which could be a problem if staying more than a couple of nights. And there is nothing to hang towels / bathrobes on in the bathroom and by the hot tub. All easy fixes which would make a big difference. Customer service is fantastic! Aleia was so friendly and helpful with our booking and we experienced an issue during our stay which was acted upon immediately and resolved within a couple of hours. We will be returning…frequently!

Perfect

We had 3 wonderful nights at the Hayloft and and we loved everything about it. The location is ideal, we felt like we were in the middle of nowhere which is what we wanted but we were so close to everywhere we needed to be. The decor is gorgeous, with lots of fabulous touches. The bathroom is great, we lived the bath but didn't use it and the bed was very comfy with crisp linen. The main event however was the hot tub! It was just what we needed after working all day. Not much world have improved our stay but towelling robes would have been welcome or even more bath towels for the hot tub so that when we showered afterwards we're weren't having to put the chemicals back on our skin. Shower gel was not provided which we did expect. Having stayed in various similar lets both of these have always been provided and we think for the price they should have been but these were not a major issue. We would still love to return but would bring our own robes. Thanks for a great few days

Slightly tired.

Beautifully renovated property with the added bonus of being dog friendly. Sadly, the interiors were slightly tired, particularly the couch(?broken?dipping) and the private courtyard space. The hot tub itself was clean internally, but externally, the cover had extensive algae on it, which made it not very appealing and therefore only used once during our stay. The external space needs some TLC after the winter spell. Despite there being a privacy fence for the hot tub, the rest of the courtyard was overlooked by the house on the opposite side of the lane. The welcome pack was nice, which was a Bara Brith Fruit Cake, Welsh tea and a bottle of elderflower sparkling drink. Because of the location and lack of open amenities, a suggestion to forthcoming guests would be to ensure you bring milk and other initial foods. We have a big dog and found very few footpaths near the property to walk the dog. The nearest one was down the main road. We received a very warm welcome from the proprietor when we arrived.

A lovely cottage but needs some improvements and attention to detail

The customer service of the cottage was great in terms of booking. We used the concierge to book a taxi to a local restaurant which worked well. There was also a bottle of prosecco waiting for us as we were on our honeymoon which was a nice touch. The cottage was lovely and warm, but would have been nice to adjust the thermostat ourselves (to turn it down!) at certain times. The bathroom was beautifully decorated as was the rest of the cottage but some things need replacing/upgrading. The hot tub was lovely as well and the garden was very private. A few areas need improving for the price, there were a lot of mention of these in the guest book so I would hope the owners pay attention to the feedback: - Sofa was broken, we found it you could pull it apart easily! Had to be careful when sitting down quickly! - pots/pans and kitchen utensils in general were very worn and missing some basic things (spatula, frying pan) - no where to hang clothes and no chest of drawers. I understand the hayloft has limited height with the gable roof but a rail or hooks to hang dresses/shirts would have been handy. - full length mirror is needed - new plug for the bath and hooks to hang towels Not a complaint as not much can be done about it, but it gets very noisy in bed if it's raining/windy I would recommend to being ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. We woke multiple times in the night because of the weather. Overall it was a good base to get round the area, however I think some improvements area needed to warrant the price.
