Ocean views and Private pool - Mariners Ridge Home

This property is a legally established dwelling that is rented for periods of 30 consecutive days or more at any one time.

Spectacular 4 bed 2 bath home with private pool and breathtaking ocean and mountain views. Situated on the ridge in the highly desired area of Hawaii Kai.

The main level includes a large open kitchen and dining area with plenty of space for a large family to congregate in. There is also a living area, the master bedroom and bathroom along with an additional half bathroom off the hallway. In addition, a large balcony which is the perfect location to start your morning with a cup of coffee while enjoying a beautiful sunrise or to end your day of fun with a sunset in the evening. Down the stairs to the second level you will find three bedrooms, one bathroom and an additional living area that opens up out to the enclosed yard and private pool. The home includes four smart TV's so the children can have quiet time while the parents kick back or the whole family can relax and watch a movie after a long day out exploring!

The home is just a few miles to Sandy Beach and the well known nature preserve at Hanauma Bay, as well as fifteen minutes to Waimanalo Beach, one of the best beaches on the Island! Safeway, Costco, many restaurants, movie theaters and all kinds of Water Sports activities are all within a mile. Maunalua Bay is the home base for competition paddlers, amateur fishermen, and everything in between. Just the perfect "home away from home" for your stay!

Aloha experience

The views from the balcony were amazing. House is very nice and spacious so you do not feel like your on top of each other. Everyone was very nice and accommodating with our flights being delayed.

Very disappointing stay

I really wish we had selected another property for our stay in Hawaii. We were there 10 days, and we dealt with extremely high winds for 8 of them. If there is wind anywhere on the island it will be seriously amplified here. It felt like we were living through a tropical storm day and night. I cannot stress this issue enough. Yes, it was windy during our stay all over the island. But we were in several locations across Oahu and this was just another level of wind. The wind also made the pool dirty so we really didn't get to enjoy it as much. The property itself is not very well kept either. It was cleaned before we arrived, but the place needs a lot of work. The host told us they would look into the maintenance items we mentioned, but it really should have been done BEFORE we arrived. It definitely feels like a rental that has had very little maintenance done to it for a long time. The shower heads leaked. The kitchen oven hood wouldn't turn off. The refrigerator ice maker didn't work well. The Internet was okay but the TVs had poor connections. The light switches were loose. The BBQ and cover were rusted and ripped. The covers on the furniture outside were ruined. The bathroom setup was not good. The shared bathroom upstairs was essentially in the master bedroom. Also, the owners were very strict about having more than 8 people over. We found this out when reviewing the agreement. They did offer to refund our deposit, so I can't say anything else about that. Just understand that if you are going to need to have more than 8 people, even for a few minutes (not sleeping over) then this place isn't for you. Overall I cannot recommend this property. Far too expensive for the experience we received.

This rental was perfect for our family and the location in the Hawaii Kai area made sightseeing easy to anywhere on the island. The house is lovely, well-maintained, clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The management company was very responsive and helpful with any questions. The beautiful views and pool completed the picture and made the stay all the more wonderful. Highly recommend this property.

Great house, great views

There is so much to do on the south-east side of the island, it was nice staying at this place with easy access lots of directions. Only 5 minute drive to costco, safeway, plate lunch, Leonard's (malasada truck) and great shave ice. We primarily drove out to Waimanalo for beach days, but had easy access to lots of hikes and other sites as well. I was happy to add a few minutes to the drive in exchange for the great views we had from the house every day.

Fabulous vacation-Beautiful location!

From beginning to end, completing the booking for this property was easy and efficient. Amanda was fabulous and maintained all communication needed to make sure we had all of the information needed for check in and check out. She answered the few questions we had while on site in a timely manner. Would highly recommend this property for a large family/group. Spacious, well-appointed, and comfortable. Made our family vacation absolutely wonderful!

Great pool beautiful view

The kids loved the pool. Enjoyed also all the pool and ocean toys. Towels easy to wash daily. Convenient location. Master bedroom is large and beautiful. We slept 10 people. Nice large open kitchen with more view. Peak afternoons are warm with no air conditioning but if the front door is left open the trade winds were awesome. Kitchen equipment was adequate and clean. Management responded quickly. We would all recommend this location.

Outstanding holiday home!

A lovely home with great views which is located in a prestigious area. We were delighted from the get go, and would very much return if we ever have the option to do so. Although we were a group of four adults, the property is child friendly. There’s two living rooms, one upstairs, one downstairs, both equipped with Netflix etc. helps give that extra space some families need whilst they’re away. Book now if you’re hesitant. Cozy with great views

Our overall stay was fantastic. The property manager communicated very well. We were able to check in earlier than planned as cleaning was done rather quickly. We had all the comforts of home and the views from the deck are stunning. We felt very welcomed. We did have one noise complaint from one neighbor, but we met other neighbors who were fantastic. The property is very well maintained and the landscaping is great. We loved our stay here!

Family Time On Oahu

If you enjoy beautiful views, constant trade winds and days spent surfing the many great spots of Oahu — this place is darn near perfect. Evenings by the pool are pretty great too.

Home away from home

A spacious rental for our family of four that allowed us to spread out and telecommute/remote school in the mornings and play in the pool in the afternoons. Booking again next year.

Lovely home in Hawaii Kai

We really enjoyed our stay! The neighborhood was so quiet, all we could hear were the birds and the view was amazing! The house was close to shopping, stores, Costco etc. and a short drive to Waikiki or wonderful beaches on the SE shore. We took full advantage of what the house had to offer. The pool was cold but very clean and fun. The outdoor furniture options were great, we could have coffee on the upper deck in the morning and escape the sun on the downstairs patio in the afternoon. We loved being able to BBQ but wish the BBQ would have been on the upstairs deck where it would have been convenient. The house itself was comfortable. However the beds were not comfortable, too firm, and the pillows could have been softer! In addition we all agreed the sofa downstairs would have been much better upstairs instead of the futon. The kitchen had everything we needed! Some of the problem areas for us were #1 battling the availability of hot water. I myself only got 2 hot showers all week. We were constantly jockeying whether or not we had enough hot water for another shower, or running the dishwasher. We found the most success taking military style showers. Even at that the water was luke warm at best. It was very frustrating. The property manager replied immediately the only time we called about it, so that was appreciated. But the problem never went away. The wifi was spotty, the bathrooms could have used a few more wet towel hooks, we could have used a few more kitchen towels and never did find any hot pads. Except for the hot water issue, these are all small details, but would have added more comfort to our stay. Overall it's a lovely home in a lovely location! Thank you for being a part of making our vacation amazing.

Beautiful home on Oahu. Gorgeous views and great management team. The location was perfect !

Such a beautiful home. I would return in a second and stay longer. The pool and view + location cannot be beat. The management team was excellent. Plenty of room for our 9 person group. We LOVED this home.
