Relax on the deck and stretch out on a cushioned lounger and soak up the sun, or enjoy a cold drink in the covered lounge area. On crisp days, a lovely lawn offers alfresco dining next to a heat lamp and a wood-burning firepit.

A stylish interior offers amazing sound views from the living and dining area. Unwind into vacation mode and watch a movie on the smart TV. Or prepare delicious home-cooked meals in the well-equipped kitchen, outfitted with a full suite of upscale stainless steel appliances.

Kitchen was beat up and silverware drawer didn't even work! Had to pull it entirely out as drawers below wouldn't work if left in. Overall, the kitchen was a sticky, broken mess. The structure itself and pressed pulp but painted walls were icky. The furniture, floor plan and views however were great!!! Plus the porch was fabulous.

Our stay in Hoodsport was amazing and the cottage we stayed in was a big hit. It was the perfect space for our family -Mom, Dad, Toddler and Gram. The house was clean with a kitchen well stocked with the necessary pots, dishes and coffee maker etc. Two bathrooms was very convenient. The beds were very comfortable. And the outside space was good– deck, table and chairs and fantastic view. There were Several nice restaurants in the area as well. We used the local beach to kayak. The location was also good for exploring nearby State Parks and several Falls and Beaches for shell and rock hunting. We had a great time!!

This was a very comfortable home right above the water with a great view from the deck! We enjoyed every meal sitting on this deck! This home has nice decor and privacy. I will say that several things need to be fixed! I dealt with several kitchen drawers in disrepair and just overall, little things that need attention. Also, some deep cleaning like ceiling fans! Despite these things, we enjoyed our time here.

Nice stay

Property was very clean, and the location was wonderful. The house could use some work; handles on cabinets missing, handles even coming off in our hands and drawers missing slides. Beds are comfy, linens were well-stocked, it was the perfect space for our family of five. With a little TLC this property would be just about perfect.

Getaway

The space is adequate with a fantastic view. House needs some updates including the loggers outside one of which is broken and being held up by cement blocks. Under furniture there were socks and dust, and quite a few carpenter ants in the kitchen. Kitchen had only like 3-4 glasses which was odd and did not make it easy for guests. I would return due to the location- easy to get to hiking trails and lake crescent for paddle boarding.

Hoodsport house

This is a quaint little house with a beautiful view of the Hood Canal. It is in a quiet neighborhood just off of the highway. The beds are comfortable for a good nights rest.

Casual house with a view

Friends, here is a great double wide home with a sweet view of Hood Canal. Down around the bend is a small public beach where you can launch a kayak or play with your dog. The owners here have clearly invested in their home to make it comfortable. Beds are firm, dvd movie selection is great. Excellent house for families with kids. The kitchen drawers are wonky but besides that this house is well appointed. Thanks for a great stay!

Cozy gem with all the comforts of home and an amazing view!

We had an amazing stay here! The view was amazing and the homeincluded everything you could think of to feel at home. All the beds were comfortable and there was more than enough towels and soaps. I love when the house comes fully equipped! We were able to just start our adventure immediately. I would highly recommend especially for families! I brought my 1yr old, 10, and 16 yr old and they were all happy with the home and all the space. The neighborhood was quiet and easy to get too. Thank you so much for an amazing place to unwind from our day!

The best!!

It's the best that we have experienced of all our vacation stay! Spacious, super clean, nice interior, very inviting, warm heating, well furnished, very comfortable beddings, well equipped kitchen & complimentary herbs & spices, lots of indoor games, more than enough toiletries and towels. We had booked for 4 night stay. After 24 hour enjoyment at the place, we had to deal with a medical emergency. Much to our disappointment, we had to leave on our 2nd day, forgoing the remaining 3 nights. Our only regrets. If management could offer any complimentary stay for us at a future date, it would be wonderful. One suggestion for improvement is more lighting in the living room and bedrooms. Sum up, 100% recommendation for others to stay at this place!!

Hiking Weekend

Great location for hiking in the Olympics. View of the Hood Canal is very nice. The house has some quirks and things I’d fix and improve, but can’t beat the location.

A beautiful & restful haven

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here so much. The little town is adorable and has some really great restaurants, the scenery and nearby hiking is incredible, and the house itself is lovely. Everything was very clean and the view of the lake from the back porch is just stunning. We already want to come back!

Ferienhaus am Hood Canal

Eigentlich ein schönes Haus mit schönem, kleinen Grundstück. Die Einrichtung wirkt aber größtenteils alt und abgewohnt. Das Grundstück ist ungepflegt. Die Ausstattung mit Gläsern, Geschirr und Küchenutensilien ist mangelhaft. Nicht alle Handtücher waren sauber. Wir haben uns trotzdem wohlgefühlt und alles in allem unseren Aufenthalt genossen.

Not Ready

This place could be five stars if a deep cleaning and maintenance was done on the home. It’s a mobile home in a good location with a great view. Many items in the home needed repairs. Many of the handles on the kitchen drawers were broken and when you pulled some of the drawers wanted to fall down. There were no working lights in the kitchen or dining room so we had to get a camping light so we could cook and eat dinner one night. We went out the first night. We had to wash all our own sheets because there was dog hair everywhere. The floors weren’t that clean either. The shower in the hallway needs a deep clean. The whole place needs a good cleaning and the maintenance issues fixed and it would be great. Loved the location and the management company was quick to respond. Just needs a little care to make it ready for guests.

Cute, Cozy, & Peaceful

I absolutely loved this place! So cute! So comfy! So peaceful! The decor was modern and minimalist, and the property was kept clean. The surrounding area was breathtaking with the view- so peaceful! We enjoyed using the fire pit and just relaxing and reflecting outside. I would definitely come back. The only thing is the wifi must have reset itself and somehow the network name reverted back to its original router name and we assume the password changed as well because we couldn’t access it so no wifi or streaming on the tv, but they did have a dvd collection, which we used.

Great weekend stay for family of 4

We had a fantastic stay over a long weekend with 2 kids, age 6 and 8. The kids loved their room and the bins of toys that it came with. We all loved the big deck and view of the water where we saw several sea lions. The primary bedroom has its own bathroom and the king size bed was love, we slept very well. We like a firm mattress so that was a big plus since most are too soft in rentals. We also loved the DVD collection with it's fun categories, which made it easy for us to find things to watch. The proximity to Hoodsport, Hama Hama and all of the excellent eateries were a huge plus and we would love to come back. The Lake Cushman viewpoint was gorgeous and now I wish we brought a picnic or snacks to enjoy while there. The only thing I wished we had was more supplies in the kitchen since we like to cook a few meals even when on vacation and there were some items we felt were missing.

Rejuvenating and quiet

Beautiful, quiet location with a fabulous view. The house was well-appointed with comfortable furniture inside and outside. The king sized bed was so comfy and the couch with blankets to curl up in while it was rainy and cold outside were just perfect. My pup loved laying on the deck and listening to the water below. We walked around the small neighborhood area and went down to the waterfront where there was limited access to the water if you are OK with a slight incline and some rocks. Overall, a lovely getaway location for a family or a few friends.
