"Beautiful place, the view was stunning of mountain hills and valley. You could see majestic birds flying around from miles away! Sunsets from the hot tub (under a roof) were amazing and location was remote and private. I would recommend bringing extra towels if you use the hot tub. For 2 nights/2 people we had 3 available but there is a washer drier availabe. Do understand this is a hunting cabin and decor shows that ( deer heads mounted) along with the practice shooting at the lodge up above this cabin. It's a bit unnerving to hear gunshots while trying to relax (mainly our terrier dog) but it isn't all day consistently and it is controlled by the lodge and it ends by evening. The firepit was huge, covered from rain and brick seating all around. There are all kinds of grill machines! A pellet smoker, A gas weber grill AND a blackstone griddle. Tons of spices available too. So many amenties! Yes we will be back!!"

"This VRBO was one of the best that we have ever stayed in! We knew that only having one bathroom would be a challenge and we almost didn't rent because of that, but I'm so glad we did! The house was immaculate, totally welcoming and comfortable. We loved the screen porch with a great ceiling fan. There were towels and blankets for days. The kitchen had welcome snacks and sweets and even a fresh baked loaf of banana bread. The AC kept the house very cold which we appreciated as it was such a hot weekend. We didn't cook but I noted how well appointed the kitchen was. So many rentals don't have adequate pots and pans and serving utensils, but this house was loaded!It was hard to find a place that would accept our dog, but this house is set up for it. It has a small fenced yard off the screen porch and even sofa covers to use if needed. There was an entire drawer of just dog items if you needed them! It's out in the country but was an easy drive into Attalla where we had dinner at Hectors (a delicious Colombian restaurant) one night. I'm a big thrifter, so I was pleasantly surprised at the nice thrift stores nearby. It's just 3 miles to Interstate so convenient to get into Gadsden or wherever you need to go. We would definitely stay her again if in the area. Thanks for the hospitality!"
