Our stay was fantastic and the owner was very communicative. The location was beautiful and very conveniently close to Max Patch. The cabin itself was adorable!! We loved the screen in porch and the decor throughout. Planning to stay again!
My husband and I enjoyed the relaxation of this rustic cabin so much that we brought my mother with us this time to experience it as well! Great cabin, location, dogs get to run free without worry, love the sound of the creek flowing, great spot!
Had a great stay and enjoyed a very peaceful week. The cabin is well equipped and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Excellent fenced in yard with plenty of room to play around.
The cabin was in a beautiful area and you can hear the stream from the porch. We enjoyed hiking at Max Patch which was close by. Great setup for families or small groups!
Friends and family got together to honor my late husband at Glenn’s cabin this weekend. Glenn’s cabin was a perfect choice. The beds were comfortable. The cabin was well appointed. It’s rustic and basic but has an incredible feeling to it. we all had an incredible time.
I was up to look for real estate so not vacation/adventure. Internet and cell service worked well. Fenced yard was perfect for my pups- the owner even went out to take pics of the fence to send me prior to reserving to see if it met my needs. very responsive and accommodating owner.
Our dogs loved the large fenced in yard! They felt right at home as soon as we arrived. The cabin was adorable and well-stocked, and the creek across the road (very close by) was so relaxing to listen to, especially with the windows open at night. Glenn was also incredibly nice and helpful! Overall, it was a wonderful visit. :)
Enjoyed our stay the cabin is lovely very vintage and Host as well as cleaning Lady is very quick to respond to any questions and very friendly and respectful to their guest . Would recommend for a family , neighborhoid is very quiet yet you are not looked at as strangers they dont care to talk and share a laugh with you . Thanks again to host Glenn and Rita , May god bless and be with each of you ! Will try to see you all again soon for more memories to be made .
We absoultely loved this cabin and are very excited to book again hopefully next year. It was very clean and my family and myself loved it very much. It was very peaceful and though we tried, we didnt even need to put a fire. It was very warm inside even though it was freezing outside. It truly felt like home away from home.
Glen was amazing through it all and made sure that we were all set and answered us very quickly if we needed anything. Helped us with how to properly use the heater along with how to make an maintain a fire for the inside and for the fire pit. He was very sweet and helpful through it all.
Will be excited to stay again in the furture.
Came out to escape for the week and had a great time just relaxi g and sitting in the creek. Mr Glenn was amazing as always! We always appreciate how understanding and accommodating he is.
Thank you for another wonderful stay! We look forward to our July visit and more in the future. We enjoy the peace and time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Glenn is an outstanding host!
Beautiful cabin nestled in the woods. It met our needs for our group of seven. The creek running across from the cabin provided the perfect tranquil setting. The cabin was a little musty, but it had so much charm and character. Glenn was great to work with and was quick to answer all the questions I asked. I would definitely stay here again!
Owner/manager was easy to work with and responsive to all correspondence. If you are looking for a mountain experience this is the place to go. The home is an eclectic mix of antiques and personal mementoes with enough modern conveniences to make it comfortable. Kitchen is cozy and fully stocked. Views are beautiful and roasting marshmallows over the campfire delightful. Hikers delight with Max Patch just down the road. We enjoyed our stay.
I couldn’t decide on a place for our weekend anniversary getaway. I searched through many different cabins, and decided on this one. So glad I did! It was perfect for us!! Large Fenced in yard for our dog, he felt like this was his special vacation only. Lol, it made it worry free for us as well!
Such a cool cabin!! Great screened in porch, awesome sun room - you can hear the stream when you open the windows, we ate in that room each day, it’s just so relaxing! And different!! The cabin has a nice Rustic look, incredible antiques, pretty cool stuff in this cabin in general.. And it’s cozy and comfortable. Loved the fire pit too
Glenn is beyond fantastic! Super nice, down to earth, he just wants you to have a great time and I love that. Thanks for everything! We will be back for sure :)
We adored this cabin! We vacation in the mountains multiple times a year and this was our first stay here. It definitely will not be our last! It was perfect for us. Loved the "down home" charm and we enjoyed looking at all of the antiques/artifacts that were in the cabin and imagining the stories that they could tell. From the wear on the cabinets from years of love to the beauty of the hard wood floors, we immediately knew it was going to be a great week. The four legged family member had an outstanding time running free in the fenced yard and romping around with his kids. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is it. We are currently trying to figure out how quickly we can return!
Beautiful peaceful property. So relaxing listening and watching mountain stream. I enjoyed not worrying about my dog in fenced in property. We only stayed for two nights but wished we were able to stay longer. We hope to return.
Lovely living room and spacious kitchen that was fully equipped for cooking meals. Screened front porch is cozy and private with sounds of the nearby creek. The cabin is full of neat knickknacks, books, magazines, board games, CDs and a few DVDs. There's an Apple TV, but we haven't tried using it.
There is no Verizon LTE/5G service, but the Wi-Fi network at the cabin works great.
Overall, we had a very lovely stay and will be back.
Rented with my 85 year old mother, disabled husband, and sister. All rooms on one level makes it appropriate for the senior set. Rustic but comfortable. Owner Glen is very available and attentive.
Glenn’s cabin is a rustic adventure high in the mountains near the little quaint town of Hot Springs North Carolina.
Pretty secluded and pet friendly which is what we wanted.
Glenn is a great host and an excellent communicator.
My wife and I had our wedding at this cabin. And we loved it it was spacious and the yard is amazing we put up a 36 ×9 tent with a 20foot hight clearance on it and it was perfect for the day our dogs had so much room to just run and we didn't have to worry about them running off. If I could post pictures of the property I would just because it's so beautiful. It's right across from the river and that was something else we loved about it the owner was helpful and kind and supportive of us having our wedding there we really appreciate all the hospitality you showed us thanks.
