"Our stay at Wonder Hotel was excellent. The room was beautifully appointed and had a definite luxury feel, with high ceilings, a chandelier, and thoughtful design throughout. The bed was probably the most comfortable we’ve had on our trip so far, which is saying something after several hotels. I also really appreciated the amount of shelving and storage in the bathroom. It may sound like a small detail, but when you’re traveling and living out of toiletries and bags, having plenty of space to actually put things makes a huge difference. Overall, the room was stylish, comfortable, and very well designed. We would happily stay here again. The staff were also very warm and welcoming throughout our stay, which made the experience even better."

"Firstly, the property is exactly as it looks in the pics. The rooms are spacious & there are facilities and equipment should you want to cook (I did and all worked fine and the pots, pans, plates etc were in good condition.) I appreciated that I was offered a suitable time for cleaning. There was a balcony in my apartment with a clothes horse and washing machine which came in handy. There was also a dishwasher although I didnt use it. The location is also very good for Deak Ferenc Ter which means that it is easy to get to/from the airport on the 100E Airport Express. If you want to pick up some groceries, there is a SPAR (Klauzal Ter) and market with fruit, veg and meat about 5-7 mins walk away (walk up from the apartment turn right and walk through the park on the pathway, cross over and walk through the arches). I would rate my experience 4.5/5 and would stay here again without hesitation. I took half a star off as I got caught up in the NATS issues which cancelled my flight. I sent 2 messages - one saying I'd be delayed and the other stating my flight was cancelled but I still intended to stay for my booking. I didnt receive an acknowledgement to these messages. It was only when I spoke to Hotels.com and they spoke to the company did they advise that they had received my messages and it was no problem. I think it would have been courteous to just respond to say "Hello we have received your message and it's ok" - it would have made an already stressful situation less so."

"The hotel front desk staff are really helpful, the rooms and beds are comfortable (apart from the noisy AC controller that keeps switching on/off every few seconds in the night) The gym is spacious and well equipped. The biggest let down was the breakfast, we ordered from the A La Carte menu, food was cold, eggs and toast were solid, seemed like it had been prepared 2 hours previous! Another guest had 3 attempts at ordering a dish from the menu, none of them had arrived when we left the breakfast room. The staff were standing and talking in the centre of the dining room, meanwhile the coffee machine had run out of milk, the tea urn was out of water and tables were not reset ready for guests. We asked for a table to be cleared, the table was wiped with a cloth and that was all, eventually we went and helped ourselves to clean cutlery and napkins. Housekeeping in our bedroom varied from day to day, one day they removed our plastic water bottles (that we still wanted for water to carry with us) some days the water in the fridge was replaced, other days it wasn't, one day we even got two bottles instead of the usual single bottle. One of our key cards was removed from the room, so I used my gym membership card in the electrical switch, this was also removed, now I have to get a new gym card at home!"
