"The Clayton Plaza continues to be a an excellent hotel. From the staff, the cleanliness of the room, to the always great breakfast this gem of a hotel cannot be beat! Although the elevator to our room was not working, the service elevator was even clean and the employees kept apologizing and keeping everyone updated on the repairs. When visiting St Louis, we will always make the Clayton Plaza our choice"

"I booked this hotel for a birthday staycation and had a great time. The hot tub was a God send. There is one pool that is half inside and half outside. The water was pretty cold so I didn't get past putting my feet in. I was able to use it several times. Breakfast Friday was great. Saturday there was a much bigger crowd. I didn't like how they roped off the breakfast area and had to come around the front desk to get to breakfast on the weekends. Friday i walked from the hallway into the breakfast area easily. I liked that there was biscuits, gravy, eggs and sausage for breakfast, a true hot breakfast. Saturday there was not enough coming out fast enough to feed the crowd. Weekends at breakfast are far more chaotic than week days. But I enjoyed the stay and would go back."

Drury Inn & Suites St. Louis Forest Park

"We really like Drury Inn because of the good breakfast and happy hour dinner and drinks. This particular Drury in the room was not quite up to what we have come to enjoy from Drury in. The mini fridge was in the cabinet and not cooling like it should so when I went to check the plugin and temp gauge I found mouse droppings and a mouse trap behind the fridge. So they knew there was a mouse around I guess. Also in the bathroom, the knob that you pull to go from bath water to the shower head was broke and kept falling off. We could still get it to work, but it was just another little thing that was not quite right with this particular Drury Inn. Otherwise, staff was friendly and food was good. My kids also enjoy the indoor/outdoor pool."
